traincrossin Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Thanks Terrance! But for some reason i'm having trouble finding Datmaze's (sp) Rock-the-Net. Can you upload it?
mcjaco Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 ^ I think it's on his website. Check the RCT3 scenery thread at the top. Â I don't think he wants us posting his scenery sets here.
terrancew_hod Posted March 24, 2009 Author Posted March 24, 2009 Here's the link for the file: Â http://www.dasmatze.de/rct/page.php?24 Â He also has other goodies like custom tracked rides as well that you can incorporate. Â Terry
PointeBreak Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Damn! When I saw this thread had shot up, I thought you had posted an update.
terrancew_hod Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 Â Sorry 'bout that. Â (You may be disappointed again at this post as well) Â I did try to work on the coaster last night, but didn't get too far. I did, however, find some more objects to fill in the 1st act... it's a bit empty inside! I'll try to do some more work, but the priority this weekend is to take stuff out of my room so it can be shown to prospective people to move in. Â Terry
AlmereStars Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Take your time rule #1 on making something with RCT3: have the patience to create something good. I normally don't have it. but if you rush everything, it just won't work. And it takes the fun out of it!
PointeBreak Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Exactly. I wasn't trying to rush you. Fair enough! ... Have you had any more thoughts as to the rest of the park?
PointeBreak Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Terry, anything? Â Not trying to hassle just wanting to know any thoughts you've had or whatever.
terrancew_hod Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 ^Oh it's no hassle.... I know I got sidetracked between trying to move and learning this 3D modeling program. (I'm getting pretty good with making a model from a picture!) I was still trying to figure out what to do with first act. Maybe I can squeeze in some time with it this week in lieu of working with the other program since it is really giving my video card a workout! Â ...or at the very least show what I did with the first act. Â Terry
terrancew_hod Posted May 1, 2009 Author Posted May 1, 2009 Just a quick update: Â After playing around with my park I found I had a few issues with lag; so I ended up buying a new video card for my birthday (Nvidia GTX 280). It was on sale for about less than I could get it anywhere so I snapped it up. Hopefully I can post a few snapshots later tonight when I get home before I install the 64bit version of Windows for my 3D modeling program. Â A sad way to spend my birthday weekend though... building computers! When I get back from the Scandinavian trip, I'm changing my number so my "friends" can kiss my butt! You know no one has even called about my birthday? Â Terry
Reon Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I know how you feel. I was born on Valentines day, so no one ever even notices my birthday...ever  Happy possibly belated birthday

Sounds like my last birthday......I feel your pain.
