CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

The final coaster to be installed before opening day is finished.

We have received a Suspended Looping Coaster from Vekoma Inc., though that is not what we originally ordered. PARC Management was to acquire Vekoma's 2nd 'Tilt Coaster', but plans changed when Vekoma received a better offer for it from Merlin Entertainment; could it possibly be going to Alton Towers next season?

Anyway, here is...

Hangman!

Grand Opening is right around the corner, and I'm trying to get some of you all a sneak peak, as we speak!

^Thanks! I've actually always liked the way SLC's appear...just not how they ride.

Brandon's Coasters has been a great help towards the success of PARC Paradise, so PARC Management thought that they would return the favor. They are offering a preview there!

This is a way of showing some members what the park is doing and getting suggestions for the park from a first person view, and not just from screen shots. Please download the park and provide us with some feedback of your experience at the park in its first stages.

PARC Paradise and Brandon's Coasters thank you for your help towards making this attraction successful. Have a great day!

That looked amazing, although you still have a lot of room for expansion, if you continue. I love Whirlwind and Bobcat, hey are both so realistic. I also really like the trainer trick with skyloop, that was the best operational X coaster I have ever seen. Awesome work so far.

Glad to see interest in my park!

Grand Opening & yearly updates will be coming soon.

GRAND OPENING

Today was grand opening for PARC Paradise, and though not as busy as expected, it was still a total success! PARC Management is very happy with the numbers they are getting, so hopefully the park will soon continue to expand, and eventually become the company's 'icon park'. Hope everyone had a great time at their special event!

The park opened at 10:00am, and by 10:30, was full of excited visitors.

Bobcat was instantly the crowd favorite.

Can't quite say the same for the SLC.

KidZone was well accepted by all of the families.

The park's 'central attraction' didn't have much of a line all day.

Overview.

Hope all of you who didn't get to attend the event enjoyed this update, and decide to visit us sometime soon!

That is definitely a rapid river ride! From what I can see in the teaser, the station building looks really cool and seems to blend easily with its surroundings.

And to comment on the last update. It's not that weird that Bobcat is the biggest hit in the park - it's the best looking ride of them all - no other coaster comes close to this. I'm totally crazy about the layout - the very very very banked first drop and the long millennium trains look really good together.

Thanks, guys! Yes, all of you are correct.

2008 Update

After a very successful season, the park continued their plans with Intamin to construct a river rapids ride for 2008. The ride stayed pretty uncrowded for a while, but when June came around...the area was PACKED. Take a look at our new, and only, water attraction!

Disaster Canyon is the new addition for 2008. It's themed around a machinery mill which has flooded, forcing workers (riders) to escape the mill on pieces of debris. Together, they must fight to survive their journey down a wild river.

Beware: You WILL get wet!

Overview of the new area.

The only other change around the park in 2008 was Hangman reducing to 1-train operation. The other train is now nowhere on site...not that it was needed, anyway.

The park has already purchased their 2009 addition. PARC Paradise will be installing a used attraction from a Cedar Fair property.

Feel free to speculate! (And share opinions of the 2008 season.)

^ Yeah that's how I've done it on my parks.

Let me guess, bathroom from Geauga Lake?

No seriously, I'd guess Big Dipper.

The rapid look really good. As I already have mentioned in my last comment, the buildings are very well made - you can't even see that this is a no-cs park. That my friend, is a sign of talent

The only thing I dislike about the new ride, is the fact that it raises in the water instead of following a small hill.

Ghost---Thanks! And yes, dig into the ground, place the rapids 'track', (zero clearances), raise the water, and (restore clearances).

Goliath---Nope, not quite. The park did indeed look into those bathrooms, though...sadly losing them to Cedar Point.

Steffen---Thanks, man! I didn't even think about using the ground to follow up the hill...I'll see what I can do.

Keep speculating.
