netdvn Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 After seeing the pics, all I can say is that it looks.... well cheesy! Its a bit too expensive for my tastes, but I wish SF good luck getting revenue from this. BTW, did anybody notice that SFNO was mentioned on one of the signs inside the shop? Dan - $40 for a haircut? - Nguyen
CHILLERLC1 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 It's maybe high for an adult but it looks better suited for children and teens. Mom, with the money comes with you, the kid likes the videos, mom buys a SFNE ticket. It looks like they can focus on a family experience.
KGA29 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 It looks nice, but the prices are a little too high IMO. Also, anyone else find it weird that in the "packages", they had Disney products offered? Isn't that a little strange to be promoting Disney Princess stuff at a SF haircut shop???
MillenniumChild Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 It looks ok but all the merchendise packed in there looks horrible and was a dumb idea. Kids are going to want their parents to buy that stuff and the parents will just get fed up and stop takeing their kids there. Oh...... and the prices are extremely too high. I don't see this lasting long and just put SF that much more in debt. I'll stick with Supercuts.
netdvn Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 ^^ Disney is universally popular so they will carry Disney related merchandise to make money. Disney Princesses are popular with little girls and SF wants to appeal to families (I think). So SF will carry Disney Princess-related products to appeal to little girls even though they are rivals in the theme park industry. PS: The Wiggles airs on Disney Channel in the US, but Six Flags is allowed to build Wiggles themed areas inside its theme parks.
sros1fan Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Here is the new commercials they just started showing here in Ct. which do have mrsix in them. Its funny how he says one flag for long hair.lol
netdvn Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Just saw the commercial and all I can say is Mr. Six's voice is really weird. I didn't really like the commercial much since it felt kinda meh.
schotj Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 They are trying to relate hair-cuts and roller coasters...but they really don't go together. This commercial seems kind of awkward.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Erm, they do go together in a very remote way. As I chopped off my crazy 4 years of hair just so riding coasters can be less problematic (as well as several other underlaying reasons). Every time I go on some rides (especially loopers), I am kinda paranoid about my hair flying around and getting caught in a mechanism or something! Or going on B&M/Vekoma flyers and it getting pinched by the harnesses. And plus, the summer/spring heat I have to be exposed to walking around at a Six Flags park! I can't imagine how much worse it would've been if I had my hair down to my lower back!
