Coaster diving into water - is this real?

So a friend of mine sent this on my myspace and I can't figure out if it'(extremely well) photoshopped or an actual coaster. I surely thought I've seen everything but...

 

anywho, here it is....

It's a real coaster. It's in Japan.

 

It's just a tunnel going under water. Just a trick that makes it look like it's actually hitting water.

It's not diving into water... It's diving into a tunnel.

The ride's called "Diving Coaster Vanish", at Yokohama Cosmoworld in Japan.

The OTSR weighs about 50lbs and made it so I could barely breathe for the ride. Not fun at all. Great park though!

Yeah, the coaster is death. But the park is awesome and tons of fun. And it has MEAT COW CAPSULE MACHINES!!! This is worth the visit right there.

The operations were horrible, too--back in 2007. But everyone needs the "Cosmoworld after dark experience" at least once.
