zburns999 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 I had been trying to start up a new solo on and off the entire summer, but failed miserably each time. But now, I've really been inspired to get back into the game and go for a full scale park again. My goal has always been to create a park that will be looked back upon in the future as one of the better realistic RCT2 parks. Hope I can finish this one. This is as much of a Talon ripoff you can possibly build without making it a re-creation. Here's Hammerhead, a Zamperla Rotoshake. Actually, this is my first custom flat. And this one's new. Your typical Thunder Canyon, as can be found at Cedar Point, Dorney Park, and probably some other Cedar Fair parks that I'm not aware of. Please feel free to comment and critisize as always. Thanks guys.
Airtime&Gravity Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Looks good so far, and after how your Paramount Park turned out, I expect that this will be another great park. I'm not a fan of the hacks though as it makes it more difficult to play if you don't have the hacks(Paramount Xtreme keeps crashing on me), but I still like where this park is going. Does Hammerhead really work?
DarkStitch626 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 This is shaping up very nicely so far. Keep up the great realistic work you've got going on.
zburns999 Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 Thanks for the comments guys. New screen... Red Virus
kalvin Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Is there anyway you can make a operating one?
SFAfan#1 Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 I really like this one. Very realistic custom flats. For a sec I thought the red virus was a real RCT2 ride lol. Cant wait for the next update!
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Yes, VERY awesome. I like the whole thing (so far)! Can't wait for another update!
Goliath513 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Hey Zack, this park is coming along great! Your custom flats (although not operational to those who asked), are amazing - especially Red Virus. Thunder Canyon is pretty good too, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your Talon style B&M invert and that woodie in the last screen.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I like all the small details such as the wooden footers. Plus your pretty darn creative with using the coaster track to make a custom ride.
triggernel Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 This park is definitly going to be awesome. Now, I know of two Rotoshakes, MOA's and now this one.
KDCOASTERFAN Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 This park is definitly going to be awesome. Now, I know of two Rotoshakes, MOA's and now this one. SFA also had one,Iron Eagle but it was scrapped when Snyder took over due to it's unreliability. It was a suprisingly smooth ride(when it was running) but was certainly intimidating to say the least when the time came for my first ride on it.
