Wow, that is really, really odd. I'm not sure how to fix that.

Have you changed any of your settings in your profile under posting? Perhaps signature settings or something?

I'm just trying to figure out what would cause the boards to NOT allow you to attach files.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hy Phil,

stil on tour in Japan?

If not - is there any possibility to do a short (or longer) TR of your trip?

That would be great

Not on tour in Japan, now in NY having been driving from LA via Route 66, Cedar Point(my first visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Toronto and Boston.

I will do a Japan TR when I get back to the UK hopefully with pictures.

Bestcoasters of Japan were Fujiyama, Regina and SurfCoaster.

But TTD and MF topped all those !

Most of the parks cost between $20 & $30. The 4 day Disney Park Hopper was about $180. (going from memory here). Some of the smaller parks were a bit less than $20, and some parks were Pay Per Ride.

I have to disagree, Elissa. Most of the parks run closer to 40-50 for free passes. There are very few pay-per parks, Arakawa Yuen, Sega Joypolis, Cosmoworld and the new Aqua Stadium being the only ones with no free pass option at all so far that I've seen.

Japan's summer begin around July 20th and I'm pretty sure most schools start around September 1st.

Actually, the school year starts in the spring, and the kids get a summer break similar to our spring break.

Hey Robb/Elissa...I just have to ask the most obvious question:

The language barrier. How tough is it to navigate? Did you have any troubles with communicating or were they minor in comparison to everything else?

Posted

If you do your reasearch ahead of time you'll be fine with the navigation. In fact, we didn't get lost once!!! And by the end of the trip I was hopping off trains and on trains like a pro!

You NEED to learn at least 50 words of Japanese to make your trip a success.

Try either Japanese for Dummies or Speedy Japanese...trust me, taking the time ahead of time will make for a much better trip down the road...

or you could always wait for the Theme Park Review Japan Trip!

^ Now, now, don't go teasing us there, Ms.E^ (altho I am more than happy to put a 'plug' in for 2008 and TDL's 25th Happy B)

Sorry guys, I`m answering just this short reply in german.

Hallo MrMorgan,
