angryemobeaver Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Me, Mitchell (gnarkiller) went to Chicago and SFGA for three days. Before i left i saw my cat Stewart on the roof of my shed he's so cute! Our hotel had a great view! To the right He's gonna jump! Chicago River Trump Tower under construction, it is my favorite building in Chicago i love the architecture The pancake building. Hard Rock Cafe me inside Hard Rock Cafe The gross Rain Forest Cafe Trump Tower is so photogenic! Some random Mexican restaurant Anorexic mannequins John Han**** Tower in the clouds Cathedral Architecture More Cathedral Architecture Some planetarium Shot Town skyline I love Chicago! This building reminds me of the dominating building in Los Angeles Our next destination Continued.... More to come

angryemobeaver Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 Six Flags Pics! Carousal! King Chaos Vertical Velocity (V2) I give it a 9 out of 10, it's much better than Wicked Twister! All though Batman at SFOG is a clone of this one, i like this one better. Iron Wolfe was next The ride isn't as bad as everyone says, most of it was enjoyable! Revolution: The ride! American Eagle! One of the best wooden coasters i have been on! At night! At day! Demon is our next ride It's not that bad... Best part of the ride! Whizzer is amazing! I really wish KI had something like this, it is just pure fun! Ahh... Raging Bull... What a great ride It could be better, if they turned the trims off. Viper! It's so under rated Surprisingly there is great air time Mitchell must of drunk too much Pepsi on the way to SF Dark Knight is way over rated to the GP, we waited an hour and a half for it Superman: Ultimate Flight Ragin' Cajun busts through a Popeye's Chicken! Last pic of Six Flags!
angryemobeaver Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 On day three we went to the beach and had some more Popeye's, i forgot my camera when we went to the beach but i go some pics on my phone (ill try to upload those soon). All good things must come to an end.. Good bye Chicago Ill miss you.. What an amazing city.. I love the skyline Welcome to Indiana, turn back while you still can! our GPS went crazy and told us to go to Gary, Indiana so we could get killed by Michale Jackson and Buffalo Bill. "eat your heart out"? that doesn't sound very good this is the worst/scariest hotel i have ever seen Thats nice to know And on the other side.. Indiana sucks.. Were almost home! My camera sucks at night.. Thanks for reading!
ebl Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 There's something that's always intrigued me about Chicago. One day, I'd like to take a trip there. I have enough miles on my credit card for a domestic flight somewhere, so... Eric
rct2wizard360 Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Glad to see you enjoyed our wonderful city. All these TR's lately of SFGAm are making realize I take my home park for granted.
Cameron Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Awesome photos! I especially love the low clouds from the Sears Observation deck. Glad you enjoyed this (under-rated) city so much .. it's much like Viper at SFGAm Cameron. PS: Your cat is awesome..!
Coaster Joe Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 I used to live in what you call the "pancake" building. Open air balcony 500ft off the river was amazing.
doublex98 Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Nice Pics! Chicago is a great city! I agree with you, Viper is waaayyy underrated.
Kennyweird Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 My cousins live up in Chicago. It would be nice to visit them sometime and maybe go to SFGAm.
i am legend--in bed Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Wow I live an hour and a half away from Chicago and haven't been there for months! Last time I was there they started building Trump Tower, but I'm going down this weekend!
mike541x Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Awesome TR. I have family that lives in Chicago/Bowlinggreen. SFGAm is a nice park. And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Demon isn't a bad ride.
cycamps Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Anorexic mannequins For some reason that made me laugh out loud. Anyways, Good TR. It's always nice to see someone enjoy my home park.
