dr.gumbo Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 The last time I made a completely new ride was new year which IMO was quite a while ago, since then I have been planning a ride completely different to what I have made in the past and I promise its going to be good. All I'm revealing to you at the moment is this quote... "Where we're going, we don't need roads!" I know its not much but I promise I will post some pictures later on. I the mean time, keep making those rides!
dr.gumbo Posted April 7, 2008 Author Posted April 7, 2008 First pictures up! Yep, its an invert. All there is to add is that this ride will not be like anything you have ridden before... (the colours won't stay like that BTW) Project New Beggining II (HKL4)-080407174534000.bmp
dr.gumbo Posted April 8, 2008 Author Posted April 8, 2008 ^ Actually they are, thats why that element is on the scrap pile!
dr.gumbo Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 Bad News! I'm putting the project on hold for the moment, I've finished the layout and I really like it but its not as smooth as I want it. Some day I will return to it but in the mean time I'm going to try something different. Enjoy life!
dr.gumbo Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 Well I'm starting up the ride again, after days of work I've finally got it moderately smooth. I'll put pics up later. EDIT: Pics up! Back to the future-The ride (SM & AH Loop )-0804281728050001.bmp Taken in 1910...
DBru Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I see that the element is back... lol Can't wait for a download!
dr.gumbo Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 ^ Thats what I intend to do, I'm not going to release it until it does.
dr.gumbo Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 "Welcome, as you may know there has beens some weird happenings going on at Hill Valley quarry. We have strong suspitions that Dr. Emmett Brown is setting up a new Institute of Future Technology after it was closed down under suspition of dangerous experimentation of time-travel. I am leading the case to find out what Brown is up to but we have nothing to prove other than the images that have already been released and this new one below. I am planning to visit the site soon and get some photo's so in the mean time you can relax unless you can figure it out yourself..." meteorite.bmp
dr.gumbo Posted May 3, 2008 Author Posted May 3, 2008 WORSE THAN BAD NEWS My computer has been wiped meaning this and other rides I have been developing over the last few months are comletely gone. In other words, this ride has been cancelled. The worst part is that it was good and I really wanted to show you the end product but that ain't going to happen. Good luck to everyone else. Your not going to see anything from me for a long time. (I'm aiming to get a new ride out by the end of the year, don't know what but I promise it will make up for this)
DBru Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 That really sucks, I was looking forward to this! Why are you taking such a long break?
dr.gumbo Posted May 4, 2008 Author Posted May 4, 2008 ^ You'll find out why sooner or later but for now I'm saying nothing.
dr.gumbo Posted July 11, 2008 Author Posted July 11, 2008 "New evidence has just been found regarding the Brown case. It has turned out that the project hasn't been canceled at all. Instead he has relocated to a new location a few miles down the road, it appears he is starting again from scratch. This is good news because it means we can now monitor the progress from day one. We will release some info when it comes but in the mean time, you can just sit back and relax. Remember, anything is possible when it comes to time-travel..." EDIT: We have just received a photo from our inside men, they tell us that the project is still going under alterations as we speak. I'm not sure what it is but its something.
Kalepi_Konei Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Wow, that is one funky looking corkscrew. Looking good man keep it up.
NASA Guy Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 ^No man, This don't look right! I can't wait to see this ride, I have always wanted to ride a roller coaster themed to my favorite series!
