vekoma_fan Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 This is my "first" park in RCT3. I'm, like so many others, not a great story teller, so I will let the pictures talk for themselves I give you The entrance some "details" at the entrance the back of the entrance, a.k.a "the harbour" The first attraction at the park, Running Horse The drop tower, Scream! The log flume station, Wild River (the most boring name ever for a flume) The flume The park so far, not much Any comments is welcome, and help as well... Stay tuned for updates
DBru Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Everything looks great! The entrance is amazing! But I do think you could come up with a better name for the drop tower besides Scream...
Pufferfish Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Nice, it looks good. You're going very in depth in the buildings and I really like to see that. I do agree with DBru though. That name makes it sound like some generic parking lot coaster in CA.
vekoma_fan Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 it's not named after the coaster, but Heide-Park's drop tower.. BUt if I'm gonna change the name, I need some help, event on the parks name(called still unknown)
AlmereStars Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 looks cool like the details maybe place some more windows on the side?
Tanks4me05 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 What's the theme of the park? I can't tell if it's traditional German architecture, old style New England, Netherlands or Italian/Venetian. Once the theme has been clarified (sp?) for myself, I can then come up with some names for the park. On the side of theming, for your first RCT3 park, this is frikin amazing! Even for experienced RCT3 designers, this is really good!
thrillrideseeker Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Wow!! The park enterance looks amazing!! You did a really good job! I like the drop tower! How tall is it? I think you should build a B&M Flyer next ~Matthew
vekoma_fan Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 I beed some help from you guys. I'm looking for some great western-themeing, the parks new area... I need also lamps/lights(western-style) and different signs, high and low, "pole-mounted" or with lighting... I could also nees some help to find out what the next attractions will be, I've lost my creativity
knottslover77 Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Bull S**t first park!!! This is absolutely amazing. --Jay
vekoma_fan Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 Construction Update! Some minor construction has happend at the park over the last few days. Some stores, a coaster and a flat-ride... The main theme of the park is Spanish-thingy, but the park will have some theme-areas, like western (when i get some scenario that i like), Perhaps a "big-city-thingy", but the western-area is no. 1 on the list. But for now, enjoy the pictures, and please comment, and let me know if there's ways to make the park better! (Mountains and so will come!) The shop and toilet building Thriller? What is that? A flat-ride? A coaster? It's a COASTER! And not only a coaster, but a Intamin Launcher Even if it's not the biggest or the fastest, it look like fun The station The front-side of Thriller, but still needs some trees The new flat, The Wave(I know, it's so original, open for changes hehe) This one still needs theming, stationhouse and so on... I hope alot of construction will be done by to morrow or sooner, so hopefully a new update before the weekend is over
thrillrideseeker Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 I love the rocket!! I can not wait to see more pictures of it!! I agree though. I think you should add a few more trees!! ~Matthew
vekoma_fan Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 Small update! Some changes has happend to the park The wave is done! The image speaks for it self A fountain and everything And they have added a slide! The park so far, and look! Trees!!!!
DBru Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Looks VERY good. I am really impressed with how you fit the slide in there perfectly. Its not very colorful, but its still beautiful. Good work!
vekoma_fan Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 UPDATE Some time has gone, and the park has builded 2 new rides! In a few weeks the park will open for the public, and there's been some talk about adding a small waterpark... The queue for the new ride, Revolt More Revolt random Revolt shot They have already started the testing... Didn't realize how high it goes The new family Wild Mouse coaster, Xpress The station random coaster pic. The track goes through the small building More of the coaster... The park so far, the trees completes the park Look! It's dark! Stay tuned for more! And don't hestitate to comment
DBru Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I won't! lol Once again, I love this park. It's unique, and I like the repetitive use of the same themeing. Beautiful!
pixelated Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I love it! It's laid back and simple, which, when pulled off correctly, looks amazing. I'd visit your park
vekoma_fan Posted March 18, 2008 Author Posted March 18, 2008 DBru: Thanks pixelated: I try to keep it simple, i hate do spend much time building NEW UPDATE The park is being built in record-time! Since the last time I visited the construction-site they have built another flat, and a new coaster! They have also changed the name for the family wild mouse to The turning road, who knows why? The new flat is almost totaly inclosed the new logo for the wild mouse The new sign is integrated at the station The new flat, a metiorite? Anyway it's called Flash It's tall and the theming is beautiful! I had to show you the toilets The logo for the new coaster... Looks like a B&M, but what kind? At least we know it's not a flying... Look at the first drop, I'm getting butterflies in my stomach After the loop, the train goes over a high-banked turn, a jr. immelmann and a zero-g And after some turns and a brake there's the last inversion, a corkscrew... And then it's back to the station speaking of station, this one is beautiful to... the way down is the elevator, hidden in this building It's a stand up! a new update will soon be available
Steffen_Dk Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 This looks really good, and I love your names, they're so different
Reon Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 This park looks great so far! I'm not too keen on the genericness of the accelorator, but Ragtime and the mouse both look awesome! I prefer the old name, Xpress, to the new one though...
vekoma_fan Posted March 19, 2008 Author Posted March 19, 2008 SteffenDK: Jeg er ikke flink til å finne på navn på attraksjonene i parken, hvordan de navnene kommer er et mysterium. I try to stand out, hehe... But the turning road name was from La Via Volta... Reon: Not everything can look great the first time.. And by the way, when ever I hear Xpress, i think of speed, wich the mouse don't have so much of, that's the reason for the change...
Yankee cannonball Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 It's a COASTER! And not only a coaster, but a Intamin Launcher which gives it a divine power over all other coasters
vekoma_fan Posted May 12, 2008 Author Posted May 12, 2008 After no sign of construction or anything from Adventure Kingdom, I've found this! Can't wait for the announcement What can it be?
AlmereStars Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 wow this is the first time I've looked at this park and it looks awesome! it has a great feeling, I really want to download this when its done!
