Tanks4me05
Without custom scenery, I can say that this is a pretty good park! This makes me want to play RCT3 again.

DBru
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Â Hello again! It's been a couple weeks, and I'm happy to report that Little Tyke's Timber Town has been completed! The following attractions have been added to the children's area: Â - Sweet Shoppe (a small shop where you can get ice cream, cotton candy, and kid's can make their own cookies!) - Timber Town Tumble Machine (small trampolines for children to bounce and flip on for minutes at a time) - Nocturnal Nonsense (a funhouse based around nocturnal animals) Â Â I also have a small surprise for you at the end of this update. Here we go! Shot0054.bmp Hmm... Â Â (First person to guess this next coaster correctly gets a sneak preview of the next update!) Shot0053.bmp Wow, that's quite a big plot of land that has been cleared. Â Let's take a closer look... Shot0052.bmp Overview of Little Tyke's Timber Town. Shot0051.bmp Another shot... Shot0050.bmp This is Nocturnal Nonsense, a fun little place where kids can run around and learn at the same time! Shot0055.bmp The Sweet Shoppe, a nice little place nestled back in the trees where you can pick up some quick snacks. Shot0049.bmp Through the trees you can see TTTM, as well as the small plateau it sits on. Shot0048.bmp This is Timber Town Tumble Machine, for children's trampolines! DBru
I guess you will all just have to wait for the next update, because no one has gotten close... lol  *Hint- the track pieces at the bottom right and top left are not turns, they are the crests of a drop/drops. Sorry if the angle was misleading!   Any comments on Little Tyke's Timber Town?
DBru
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Â Sorry it has been so long. I've been to the park quite a bit since the last time I talked to you. A couple weeks have gone by, and instead of giving you an update for every visit, I thought I'd combine them all into one. So here are some pictures of the process, including the 3rd coaster, Hideout! Shot0067.bmp And I'll leave you with an overview of the park at night... Â Â All three coasters are now completed, so now all the park has to do is add some more flat rides, and maybe a restaurant or two, then it's time for grand opening! So you next update! Shot0066.bmp The park also added some landscaping around the backside of The River Wheel... (in front of Hideout) Shot0065.bmp An overview of the Hideout. Shot0064.bmp Later at around 6:30, the roofing was also done! They also added the Hideout logo near the entrance. Shot0062.bmp These next few pictures were taken a week after the last ones. All work on the walls were finished at this point. Shot0061.bmp While exiting, there is a chance that the train will zoom right under you! Shot0060.bmp And within hours the top part had been completed! Shot0058.bmp They also started work on the building that day. Shot0058.bmp After a few days the track-work and supports are finished! Shot0057.bmp Here is the train sitting idle in the soon-to-be station. Shot0056.bmp This is Hideout, the new, enclosed, Vekoma Boomerang!

DBru
Construction Update  Hello again! I only got one chance to swing by the park this week, but that's okay, because plenty of progress has been made so that I can provide an update!  4 projects have been completed since I talked to you last week.  - 2nd Little Tyke's Timber Town Entrance - Grain Grinder - River Round-up - Memory Lane  Take a look and tell me what you think! Shot0073.bmp And in this picture you can see the entrance queue to the left, and exit to the right.  Come back soon for the installment of the last ride, as well as the beginning of testing! Shot0072.bmp Here you can see the small pond that riders will travel over, with the bridge in the background... Shot0071.bmp Memory Lane is an antique car ride that travels over and around obstacles on its way through the woods. Shot0070.bmp This spinning machine is a roundup ride called River Round-up. It lies beside Black Widow. Shot0068.bmp Grain Grinder is a Huss Enterprise. It is located to the left of Pizza Hut. Shot0069.bmp This is the 2nd Little Tyke's Timber Town entrance. It's not quite as large or attractive as the the main one, but I guess it will do...

coastercrazed49
Looks really good, but I have one suggestion and that is try and make the hideout a little less boxy and big. Other than that you have a great park and keep up the good work.

DBru
Construction Update  Hey again, how's your week been? I went to the park yesterday, and snagged some pictures to share with you all. The park has added one last ride, Crash Canyon, and a large gift shop. Testing started this week, so I have a few pics of that, also. Nothing much big is being put up, and grand opening is in a few weeks. I'll bring you an update then, if you don't get to come out for the first day. See you then! Shot0082.bmp Indiana Adventures!!!  See you on grand opening! Shot0081.bmp All the rides in Little Tyke's Timber Town won't start their testing until later on in the week, but I will not be around to stop by during that time... Shot0080.bmp I suppose Hideout was testing today, but sadly management wouldn't let me into the building Shot0079.bmp Cliff Diver was also testing today! I can't wait to ride this contraption... Shot0078.bmp Black Widow was finishing up its second round of testing today. Shot0083.bmp Crash Canyon is a scrambler that's surrounded by HUGE hills on 3 sides! Shot0077.bmp MM fits in nicely with Memory Lane, don't you think? Shot0076.bmp Here is the new gift shop, Memory Memorabilia!

DBru
!GRAND OPENING!   Park Admission Adults- $15.00 Children- $10.00 Seniors- $12.00 3 years and under- FREE   Hours of Operation Monday-Thursday: 10am-9pm Friday-Saturday: 10am-11pm Sunday: 1pm-10pm     Wow, I just got back from the grand opening of Indiana Adventures. I had a great time! The park was packed, but the lines for rides weren't TOO long...  I got there about 30 minutes before the park opened, and at least 500 people were waiting to get in along with me! There are two entrances, and one exit, but it still took quite a while to get in.  Once inside, I picked up a park map, and headed to the left side of the park. First up was Black Widow. Now, I don't think I've told you this, but during testing something wrong was discovered with the back car of the train, so it was removed. So the train now has 6 cars, instead of 7. But it didn't seem to affect the capacity much...  I got on the first train, and the operator even let me take my camera on! Black Widow was really smooth, and going past all of the scenery was great, too!  I skipped the Pizza Hut and went on to ride everything else in the area. Memory Lane is definitely the best antique car ride that I have ever been on. It was pretty popular...  On the way to the other side of the park, I hopped on River Wheel to take some pictures. River Wheel was the most popular attraction in the park, but that's probably because it is impossible to miss.  I had heard that Cliff Diver had been down all day, but to my surprise, it opened back up as soon as I entered the line! CD is my favorite ride in the park!  I didn't have too much extra time, so I didn't go into Little Tyke's Timber Town, but it sure seemed to be packed! Indiana Adventures has pushed the family aspect of there park very far. A LTTT ad was on the cover of almost every parenting magazine I've seen in the last couple of weeks. On my way back to Hideout, I noticed that the park has added a new bathroom. This was definitely needed.  I went into the Hideout building, and got on the ride, but the operators here wouldn't let me take pictures on the ride. Hideout may need some work, because the boomerang is kind of rough, but I have no doubt that the park will fix that. On my way out, I took a shot from the exit ramp. The path is designed to go over the track, and there is a small window so that guests can watch the train zoom by underneath them. Very cool.  After Hideout, I quickly walked back to Cliff Diver for one last ride. I had a plane to catch at 8:30, so I didn't have time for anything else. But it had been a great day, and I sure hope some of you got to get out and enjoy it as much as I did! Until next time... Shot0092.bmp An overview of Indiana Adventures on opening day!  See you this summer! Shot0086.bmp My last ride of the day, Cliff Diver, against a beautiful sunset... Shot0088.bmp The awesome view of Hideout from its exit path! Shot0087.bmp The new bathroom by Hideout. Shot0090.bmp The other side of the park from the River Wheel! It rained periodically during the day, but that didn't stop people from piling into the park... Shot0089.bmp Little Tyke's Timber Town from the River Wheel. Shot0085.bmp The park enclosed the loading area for Memory Lane, a great antique car ride! Shot0091.bmp Going down the first drop on Black Widow! Shot0084.bmp The line to get in was already half an hour long when I got there!

DBru
Summer, 1995 Â Hey everybody. It was a humid, hot, rainy day yesterday... but I decided to head out to Indiana Adventures anyway! I had the whole day to spend, and then I had to be off to the Indianapolis Airport by 10:00. Â Like I said before, the weather was pretty miserable, but there were still quite a few guests in the park. Ride lines still pretty short. Â I haven't really shown you the inside of Little Tyke's Timber Town yet, so I'll cover that a little bit in this update. Here are some pics... Shot0100.bmp One last picture that I took from the plane. The park really is beautiful at night... Shot0099.bmp I can't believe anyone ever rides Crash Canyon; its almost impossible to find! Shot0098.bmp The line for Memory Lane was pretty much nonexistent all day long... Shot0097.bmp The Sweet Shoppe looked really cool today, with the rain pouring down on the roof. Shot0095.bmp Onboard Little Logger, the small Tivoli coaster. Â LL is placed over a lake with a large fountain in the center. It really adds to the ride! Shot0094.bmp First I headed into LTTT. I love the entrance... Shot0093.bmp Well here I am, back at IA. Isn't the sky beautiful...?
FitchCoaster
I love the park! It has such a natural feel to it. The atmosphere is really nice and seems like it would be a really calming place to visit. Â Can't wait for the next update!
DBru
Last Day of Season, 1995 Â Well, its been a good year, and it was pretty sad to walk into the gates for one last day this season. The weather started out sunny and beautiful, but sadly as the day went on, rain clouds started to fill the skies. I left early to avoid the rain, so this update is huge. But I did take a helicopter up tonight to get one last view from the parks first season. Â I've heard rumors that the park is getting something wet next season, and this is good. Indiana Adventures has no escape to the terrible summer heat. Â Anyway, here are some pictures from the end of the season! Shot0105.bmp Goodbye, Indiana Adventures, and thank you Campbell family for a great season! Shot0104.bmp And I FINALLY got to take my camera on Hideout! Shot0103.bmp Pizza Hut sure was crowded today! (Especially when it started to rain...) Shot0102.bmp Through the trees you can barely make out Grain Grinder, the park's HUSS Enterprise. Shot0101.bmp Black Widow looms over you in the distance as you walk into the park.
