ChrisChavan Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 ^ Well, I meant without the parent. I wouldn't make my non-enthusiast dad or mom pay nearly $1000 to aid me along.
coastercrazed49 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 ^Thats the same deal with me. Even with that my parents don't want me to go until I'm at least 16.
ChrisChavan Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Yeah, the only problem really is the trust issue with mine. They have no idea who TPR is. Â Hey Elissa, maybe you and Robb can plan a surprise visit to my house and perform a TPR extraveganza! Â But seriously I wanna go.
Hercules Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Just a little note to the youngsters on here.... Â Don't get upset that you aren't able to go on trips yet either due to TPR rules, or your parents rules. Believe me, you have plenty of time to ride coasters through out your life. Just be patient. Life is long. I know that it is frustrating to see long park lists like the one that Big Mike posted, or the Photo TR's that the Midwest participants have posting and have posted. Believe me, I know how you feel. But just wait until you have a little bit of independence in a few years, have your own money to spend on whatever you like, and all of that good stuff. You will really appreciate things a lot once you are able to do more of what you want to do. Just respect Robb and Elissa covering their butt, and also respect your parents for trying to protect you. Like I said, just be patient. Â And, this isn't directed to anyone in particular, just don't whine about it or post multiple times about how you really want to go but can't, but you REALL REALLY WANT TO GO BUT I'M ONLY 13!!!! MY PARENTS ARE SO DUMB!!!!! WHY CAN'T MY FATHER DISH OUT THE EXTRA $1,000 AND GO WITH ME!!!!! HE IS SO SELFISH!!!!! It really gets annoying after a while. Just cool it. Money doesn't grow on trees, and it is annoying. Â *** I'm just going off of what I have observed in other trip threads like this one. This one hasn't been as bad as most. I just wanted to say my piece. Â ***DISCLAIMER - All of the views expressed in this post are pending based on the possibility of the world ending in 2012.
rollin_n_coastin Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 It's really good to see some people happy to come up to "igloo land"! Makes me excited!  LoL Honestly after February, might as well live in one I think we are actually getting more snow than Buffalo!! That's really unusual  Kind of tired of shovelling in all honesty, but at least it's warming up.  Anyways, so glad the TPR trip will be up in the area! Behemoth is going to be awesome and don't worry, snow will be long gone by then! Plus, Dragon Mountain and moreso Skyscreamer will give an awesome view of Niagara Falls at Marineland.  I'm pretty sure I'll be on the add-on also so looking forward to meeting everyone that's coming.  Cheers, Jay
clewis4u Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ1Z-EdPbfo  Hopefully this video will give some people a nice taste of what to expect, for those who have not visited the park before. I did not make this video.
nathanhillinbl Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 ^ Thank You  ^^ I will be starting back at TGE on april 1st, but I'll have enough for the deposit by the end of the week for the Canada/Ravine Flyer 2 Trip.
nathanhillinbl Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Ok, thanks, I'll get that $$ in as soon as possible.
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 From the pics i've seen so far...behemoth alone would be worth the 1000 bucks
SharkTums Posted March 13, 2008 Author Posted March 13, 2008 Behemoth Ravine Flyer Trip is down to 2 Spots!!!
SharkTums Posted March 13, 2008 Author Posted March 13, 2008 The deposit for this trip is non-refundable since I've already had to pay deposits on the bus and hotels.
CHILLERLC1 Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Are you guys done with the Behemoth trip roster?
SharkTums Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 ^No, I think we have about 2 spots open...we upgraded to a larger bus!
nathanhillinbl Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I'm interested in one of those spots. Although i have no money because all my money right now is saving for a car, and i'm not working, my birthday is in 2 days, and the deposit for the trip would be a great b-day present, so i'll talk to my parents tonight.
BeatleBen Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 I am interested in joining the Behemoth/Ravine Flyer trip now that I have the money for it. Are there still spots open for it? If so, what shall I do next? Thanks!
SharkTums Posted May 14, 2008 Author Posted May 14, 2008 ^I got your email Ben...I'll get back to you soon.
BeatleBen Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Cool! Thanks for letting me know since I got some weird error message when I sent it. But it looks like you still received the email.
