I found this while browsing.

Am I just blanking, but what is the "Kid's Coaster Flume" in the place of where Wilderness Scrambler used to be. There's a lake and everything. The map is from 1986 (when I wasn't around), but I don't recall a ride like that. It also says in the upper right corner "Kid's Boat Ride" (in small letters). I don't think either of them were built. Anyone know why not?

The "future building" on the right became a warehouse. As a random sidenote, the forest mural on the wall of the warehouse actually has a hidden bigfoot painted on it. The barn never made it over there, as it is still across the street.

The "Kid's Coaster Flume" is roughly going to be the "Pony Express" area. From the layout of that, it looks like this drawing might have been the inspiration for Pony Express.

^You mean Knotts Berry Farm? Like it says in the bottom right hand corner?

This is a pretty awesome picture I've been checking it out for like 10 minutes now just because its interesting to see what they were thinking about doing.

I noticed the Pony Express location soon after looking at it, and thought that was a cool coincidence as well. Looks like they had a lot of great ideas, some of which apparently didn't fall through. But hey, what's new?

Then you'd probably get a kick out of this if you haven't seen before:

This was obviously the expansion plan prior to the CF takeover since none of the CF additions are shown. Also note the smaller GR layout originally proposed.

^ Wish I knew how, just copied it from the website linked above, hopefully someone else who knows how can. I'd also love to see the details, looks like we would have had a very different front half of KBF.

^Yeah is that a BRIDGE crossing Beach Blvd to a resort hotel with *gasp* existing Reflection Lake and MORE water East of the park? I think so because I can read La Palma, Stanton and Crescent in a clockwise respective fashion.

Wow I've seen that picture before, but I never really paid attention...

^^There's a way I can magnify it, but it's only because I have a Microsoft mouse with a soft key that you click and it zooms in. If I could find a way to copy the image the mouse makes I'd be able to expand it and save it a little larger, but I've never been able to figure it out.
