Airtime&Gravity Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Wyandot Lake has released concept art of what the new park will look like. I'm very impressed, and the new park looks like it'll be really nice. While it will mainly be a water park, a steel sit down coaster is visible in the pictures. http://www.nameyourwaterpark.com/sketch.htm
Shavethewhales Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 The park looks incredible, but why does it need a new name? I thought the old one was as good as anything.
kewlcoasterdude Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I heard it was going to be called Wyandott Lake II
TheGreatOne Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 You can definitely see a coaster in the second picture. It looks to be a Gerstlauer-style spinner. Hopefully they go for custom and not a stock Reverchon/Zamperla.
John Peck Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 I don't like any of the names they have to vote on. Neither of them have anything to do with Columbus or the Zoo. Thats probally what they wanted, but still. "Wyandot Lake" of course never made much sense because we are nowhere near Wyandot County and there no lake anywhere close. I went to the auction back in November, it was my last chance to say goodbye to the old Girl. The concept art really doesn't match where "I heard" things were going. But then again, there could be a million pieces floating around somewhere. No pun intended.
Xxhershey818xX Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Im actually really excited to see how this turns out. Also cause my parents are tired of driving me 2hrs to go to Cedar Point or Kings Island!
coaster05 Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Looks great and should be an awesome day trip for me in 2008.
CP_RULES Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Tahiti Tides sounds the best IMO. The concept looks really cool!
