I recently completed VertiShock, a pulley/tower ride that is about 2 1/2 stories tall. I attached 2 different pullies to a high branch. Then I attached a swing seat to one end and a PVC pipe to the other(to pull with). It is so fun and a really awesome ride. I'll have pictures within today or tommorow.

I'm going to make a "TR" of the park in a couple of days. Most of the other rides are like modified swings and slides. The train is just some wagons pulled by a mini tractor.

I used to turn my back yard into an "amusement park" when I was about 10. There wasn't much there, but I had wheelbarrow or shopping cart rides (human powered---by me!), a haunted house type attraction, a spinning barstool ride, and a petting zoo (the dog!).

At my friend's house we built a ghetto coaster using 2 bed rails and a red wagon. The wagon was towed to the top without the riders, then they were strapped in by a chain and padlock and released. It was pretty fun as you felt like it was going out of control.

We also had a ginormous swing that was pulled by a rope below. I reached rooftop heights while losing my stomach.

Lastly, here at my house I built the "Skateboard" ride by propping plywood on some crates and ride the skateboard on my butt down when I was younger. We attempted a second hill but my uncle came out and told us to take it down before someone gets hurt...that sucked. Lastly, I had a bed freefall ride only I experienced. My cousin sat on the top of the bed and tied a blanket or rope around me, lift me up (He was strong enough) and at the last second he released me as I fell onto a hard floor...it hurt. Never again!

This was 9 years ago Can we see your backyard park?

Okay, c'mon. There are some old threads that are timeless and all, but this is not one of them. It's been 9 years, I doubt the ride is still standing.
