Stealth
What would be the nearest airport to Cedar Point that I could fly into from Orlando? Thanks Stealth
Scaparri
Toledo is generally a popular one. It's the closest. Cleveland is a little further but not by much. Toledo is probably 50+ minutes away and Cleveland is probably about an hour at least.

goingcoasting
I have found Cleveland to be cheaper to fly into using Southwest. You have to go to Southwest to book through them. They do not book through yahoo, travelocity, hotwire, etc.
SharkTums
Oh, I wasn't advocating BOOKING on travelocity...but people should use it to do research. Always book through the actual airlines website. And yeah, Southwest and other low costs don't advertise on other sites so you'll have to look at those seperate. Stealth
The gnome is your friend don't worry Thanks for the link to Southwest, the only problem is you can't book far in advanced, I think the furthest away you can book is May. I wouldn't want to book everything and wait to book this flight nearer the time to find out I couldn't get the flight I needed. Anyone know of any other cheap airlines where you can book further in advanced? Thanks Stealth
CoryPa77
I've flown into Detroit, non-stop from Orlando the past two years for $130 and $120 round-trip on Air-Tran. From the Detroit airport to CP it's about 2 hours, and it's never been a bad drive for me. So, in other words, you can go from Orlando to being at the CP parking lot in under 5 hours. Not too bad... ginzo
Airtran is a good choice. I've had good luck with them, and prefer them over Southwest. Southwest's lack of assigned seating makes me angry. It's funny how the low cost carriers can totally kick the major carrier's a$$es in running things smoothly, yet everyone still remembers Airtran as "DeathJet". Meanwhile, Delta could crash 10,000 planes and nobody would blink.
ShannonSomerville
Well, when I go to CP,I usually fly with either Southwest or Continental into Cleveland, but I fly from BWI Marshall(Dulles is too far from me!!)
