Meteornotes Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Pretty dull season of AR if you ask me. The final challenge was exceptionally lame. At least those uber-annoying beauty queens didn't win. dt
gnewton34 Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 I know! I couldn't believe they actually let them leave after 10 minutes in the vault, they should've been made to have to figure it out. What kind of challenge was that? The sit in a vault for 10 minutes challenge. The hardest mental challenge they've had like that was the flag challenge. And I can't believe that the spoiler list was actually right. Bleh. I feel they went way too easy on the teams this season, the toughest thing they did was that kayak paddle out to the boat. They definitely need to make their challenges harder and a bit more exciting. Where are the extreme stunts they used to have to do?
Sue Posted May 7, 2007 Author Posted May 7, 2007 What a disappointing ending! Eric and Danielle were on the CBS morning show and said they're not even together anymore. Big suprise there!
Rugged One Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Yeah, it was a pretty lackluster season but at least it wasn't as bad as the Family Edition. The challenges just weren't nearly as hard as they should have been considering that the supposed "best of best" teams were involved. The second to last challenge involving the kayaks was physcially probably the hardest thing they had to do the whole race. I'm not too disappointed that Eric & Dani won. They deserved to win it just as much as any other team considering that they had to overcome constantly playing from behind because of bad flights and getting yielded twice.
CommanderLock Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Pretty dull season of AR if you ask me. The final challenge was exceptionally lame. At least those uber-annoying beauty queens didn't win. dt Those spoiled brats probably already had a million+ in their budget at home. They didn't need the money.
haiderodes Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 While the challenges didn't seem to be particularly unique this time around, they had some new rules to contend with. Such as not being able to beg for money or sale any of thier possesions. Perhaps those hindered things.
Bubba83 Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 The season would have been a lot better if Rob and Amber went deep. They are very fun to watch. I still look back at the episode where they lost and scratch my head at every decision they made. It was just an off day for them I suppose.
Meteornotes Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 ^Rob and Amber getting booted early was a highlight. Enough of them already. What it should have been was the ten previous winning teams, competing for $3 million, with exceptionally difficult challenges and clues. Why they had to bring back losing teams from the previous season was beyond me. dt
Nrthwnd Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Hmmm. Well, after leaving for Europe before the remaining four teams raced it out.... Sorry to 'hear' that our funny ghey guyz didn't make it to the final three. Hmmmph. )o: And VERY sorry to hear that Eric and Danielle (sp? what-ever...) won it. If it was to be between them and the blondes and the 'accented'/short ones (hah).... I would have gone with The Beau-tay Queenz. But - guess we took off for our trip, at the best time in it, hmm? After The Cha Chas were out - all 'eh' from there, yes? Oh well, you never know with these 'reality shows' now, yes? No? I mean, look at "Survivor" this time. Never stays the same, even with "All Stars", heh heh. (GO Rob'n Amber!)
