That was short and boring, which may be characteristic that type of coaster. Also the banked hill before and after the brake segment needs some help.

No offense or anything but why even waste time making and posting such a small unoriginal ride anyway? Make something fun and longer next time. (I'm not only talking to you, but all the other people which short, uncomplicated rides too. I'm not trying to be mean to anyone, Just a thought)

^No, see, that's not true. This ride is complicated. Think about how he prevented lateral G even with the train going that speed. I don't see you complaining about TTD/Ka creations. Rate it for what it is, Hypersonic XLC is about this long, maybe shorter. Dodonpa of course is HUGE compared to XLC but still. This ride's good.

^Yeah your right I dont complain about Kingda Ka recreations for the fact that they are recreations. The point of those in my mind is to show your skill in making something just exactly like another ride, not you skill of making your own good ride. Also, It's not that hard to get the right banking to prevent bad lats. That was my opinion, there is no true or not true, so I don't need you to tell me if it is or not. Obviously your opinion is different than mine and I respect that, so lets just leave it at that.

This is essentially a recreation of this type of ride so your point seems pretty much moot.

Nice ride.

Pretty much dose not cut it. He thought this up using the ideas of the other rides, which is why I called it unoriginal. So your point is "pretty much moot."

What the heck is moot? anyways the coaster seems cool but whats with that grey box is it suppose to be the mechanical fixing place(The names not coming to me so thats my best explanation) ?

you know what? I've never seen you even post a trck so you have no right to come in and start critisizing mine! this took 2 weeks to finish! the supports on the hill an hour alone...plus getting the specs for a real Thrust air, plus figuring out the G probelms (Try fixing +7 and -2 g's as well as I did) and figuring outwhat supports i sohuld use for the rest!

And my next coaster on cristmas unless you post a ride in 5days don't even bother posting in it's topic!

GET OVER IT KID! your so wrong. This is a forum, I have every right in the world to citicize, hell, I can say anything I want! Also I have posted about 7 coasters on here. If you want to look at one go to the thread on the first page of video games etc. Experiment Nl Coaster, thats mine. Also the "these are my best" thread is mine too. Hope you like them.

LMAO You are joking, right? I mean the lats arent super bad, but Id say anything over -+0.6 is too much for this type of ride. His reaches -1.5 and over 1 two other times and its got like 3-4 turns.

Thats not preventing lateral G's, thats creating them - and ones that are too intense as well.

um just to let you know he has been working on this for a long time and hes go some good skills but you shouldn`t have a go at people when your coments are a bit mean.

Personaly i think you should work more on your rides because some of them are jerky

Ok here's the thing, this has nothing to do with you. Also I've said nothing but good things and if not in a good manor to you because I saw the flaws in your rides and felt you needed encouragement since others were being rude. But you are in no position to tell people that their rides are jerky, look at your rides, Ive downloaded most of them, they aren't top quality, so please don't say ANYTHING to me about my rides. Ive thought you were pretty cool but now my opinion has lowered for you. Its a pity...

Since when does a persons skill determine what they can say and not say?

Do any of us here design real coasters? Except for the guys at GCI - no. But dont we critique the rides we ride? Dont most people say Arrow and Vekomas are rough? And Intamins and B&M's are smooth?

Using that logic none of us then could critique because since we dont create them, we have no right.

Well, thats false. Just because you dont create good NL rides, or even create NL rides at all doesnt mean you cant tell between a classic or a poor ride. Some of the best critics Ive seen dont design in NL at all but they can tell who does good work and who needs help.

And help doesnt have to come in the form of techincal data - though thats encouraged, its not needed. Layout advice, elements, anything you can think of can be of help to someone to stimulate their brain.

So dont go telling others what they can and cant do based on their abilities. That is NOT a measuring stick for who can rate and who cant.

I have no idea what you just said but ok.

Take that, then read what I said again.

Well, sorry Real. I guess another reason the laterals might have been good for me is that I wasn't using improved friction.

^^ Well, you must not be able to read, he stated it very clear.

^Hes not starting crap - hes just helping you understand what I wrote since you didnt understand. Not like he was threatening you...grow up.

Calaway-

Hey, dont be sorry. I takes alot of practice. Once you use it soo much you can almost, without even going into the sim, know exactly what banking it will need based on an approx speed. But that just comes with time.

Keep at it. It wasnt bad for what was there, just some quick transitions that need alot more technicality in the trackwork.

Have you ever heard of the AHG? It will automatically heartline your track to reduce laterals by a ton. However, since it needs to create a new track with alot more verticies than you previously had, it means that any mistakes will be amplified. Its a give and take sort of program.

Heres a link: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/pageid-6.html

Search the forum for AHG and youll probably find alot of topics reguarding the more indepth details to getting the most out of it. Plus, make sure you read the site and the readme that comes with it.

Well, Id have to say I agree. I pretty much laid it out in lamens terms.

But, if you need the cliffnotes version:

Dont tell others they cant rate based on their skill level - its a completely inane reason and has absolutely no merit whatsoever. Because if thats the case, Ive seen your rides and youd not even have the right to talk about others rides, let alone tell others what they can and cant do.

But, because everyone has a right to tell others what they think (constructively of course) you, and others, are encouraged to comment/rate others rides.

So, lets get back to this guys ride so others can comment on what he needs to work on (reguardless your skill level) and actually be productive.

I liked this ride. The banking was off (lats were too high) and it stacked but that's okay. You kinda heartlined it by hand so that's a plus. Pretty good job. The supports were nice and the track was smooth. Keep it up.
