I doubt they'd ask you to send the original strap back. It would cost them even more money and, in the end, what use are they for Nintendo?

No, probably they'll just tell you to throw out the old straps, when you get the new ones in.

It is interesting to note that the first major news site that is reporting on this is the one run by Microsoft.

^Strange, guess that means they're paying attention to the competition!

This is weird, I don't see what's wrong with the old ones! I figured it was the users' fault for not using the wrist-strap properly, but maybe not...either way, at least everyone can now safely play with their Wii

I'm looking to get one soon after Christmas, I have the money finally. I wonder if the controllers will have the new wrist-straps on them in the next shipments of the system?

I personally thing the Wii is a joke. I really dont see the fun in swinging your arms around like a retard trying to hit a ball or boxing in a ring. It seriously looks stupid to play!! As far as I know its a computerized excersize machine.

Ok to the topic.......

I guess Nintendo didnt take into concideration at how crazy some people might get with the controller!

Here is an example!

^ Is that girl giving birth or somthing?

So basically, i was about to write that i wouldn't bother my time or waste nintendo's money on getting a new streap,, because i trust myself and my grip enough not to care...

But before i got a chance my dad came in and said "Hey, mark, i ordered a new wriststrap for you from Nintendo!"
