DarkStitch626 Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Ok so last week I was down in Florida. I Stayed right down the street from Old Town which sucked by the way..so expensive! *cough* it was a tourist trap.. $45 for G-force a 110mph car ride made by S&S.. We stayed at the Cypress Palms fairfield time shares. Nice place..Bonnet Creek is soo much better though! So we get there and we automatically since its 5 minutes drive down the road go to downtown disney! gotta love that place.. I only took a few photo's but eh it'll do. This was my personal favorite thing to actually sit there and watch, it spits! LOL! some chinese lady walked under it got spit on and started cursing as loud as she could! classic! The World of Disney is an awsome store I particularly like it because of the different enterence art on the building. So we walked around till late night and we went back to the hotel. Next morning we get up and head to Epcot. I had looked around and ridden stuff then I remembered Soren was there. So after a failed first attempt I actually 2 days later found him and said hey. We talked a little but he had to get back to work so I moved on and ran back to Test Track. We really weren't on a time schedual but we did alot of walking so we park hopped alot, I don't even remember alot of what we did. Day 2 we hit up Everest (no pics ) Parents really didn't wanna take camera on rides. We hit all the parks besides the water parks which kinda sucked being as the weather was in the 90's. The weather man was talking about a "Cold front going through and to grab your jackets" The coldest it got was uhhh 88 degrees...THATS A "Winter" chill!?!? No trip of ours is complete without the Kona Cafe ! Noodle bowl heaven! So of course we stopped there.. Now for all you Kona Cafe fans out there a trip is not complete without chocolate statues.. Thats just Awsome... They had decorated for halloween too! As always the food was great too bad I didn't get pic's of Boma the African restaraunt in the Animal Kingdom lodge I think is was. We had gotten reservations for Ohana finally too! they were booked for 2 weeks solid! Hey my obligitory shot of the not so "SQUISHABLE" castle.. Needless to say disney is good about everything until you forget the random scenery... Needless to say I think I angered the god's! Oh before I forget to post this. The Brittish have Invaded Epcot..sos did Little Richard uhhh need I say more.. More too come later , next update will include IOA pics (No HHN sorry) Heres a teaser. Hey wait a sec the Dueling dragons can switch colors almost exactly? Reverse dragonism? TROGDOR maybe? Fire has become Ice and Ice has become fire? what the crap...
socalMAN123 Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 LOL, nice PTR! Can't wait to see the IOA pics, I really miss that park. ---Brent
DarkStitch626 Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 So heres some Ioa candy for you guys. Every ride was either walk on or had maybe 3 people in the station! ALL DAY!.. The only ride with a line was the Pteri flyer (yay new credit!) Adults allowed on in morning only without kid!. So my first ride of the day was The Hulk coaster.. This pic came out a little dark but eh I like it.. the worst part about the park was the fact that when ever you try to get a good shot even just that ONE person walks in your way... See I mean plenty of walking space and its like "What the crap!" Well for one Suess land is NOT kid friendly! the one side of the Suess Mack powered coaster trolly what ever thing-a-ma-booble... goes right through a cafe..where people throw stuff at you.. there seriously should be a warning sign "Monkey's fling poo" or something like that! Of course long intro no warning gah... Ohhh hello.. wait a tick how the heck messed up is the Suess thing a ma bob thingy... that ride needs a warning too THEY STAPLE YOU!.. Oh and I met yet another forum member there "CoasterEricHP" he was op'ing the trolly thing.. Oh and I found my summer home...Why are there people invading it! Oh while off topic for a sec I did manage to find 2 yes 2 pictures , 1 of Everest which I forgot I took.. The other pic will be the last for now till I upload more.. Its in the Venus trader place at disney.. "Yes I took out your cable television this is mine!" Oh and in the footprints on the ceiling is one of god knows how many "Hidden mickey" Oh as of now I must make an apology to all full blood IOA fans but Dr.Doom"less" SUCKS!!! it was like a kiddie POUNCE N BOUNCE FROG HOPPER RIDE!!! compared to Dominator, Power Tower, and all the other towers from S&S! it appears this photo crapped out during the transfer so I am reposting it this way.
DarkStitch626 Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 Thank you. I took quite a few of those that aren't posted yet. I enjoy taking wide shots.
waterviper Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Awesome TR!! I liked how you got discriptive with every pic!! Good jarb!! Hahahhaa thats hilarious about the chinese lady getting all livid about getting a little wet from the spit!!! Wouldn't you think they would notice it? Or does he spit once in a while? Yay the obligitory picture with Soren!! You got to have that if you visit Epcot!! It is like mandatory!! Boo on the Beatles look a like band!! Paul dude needs to be left handed!! I dont know about any of you guys but I find that annoying!! Being a big Beatles fan and all if you are going to dress up like them and play like them, then dammit LOOK like them!! If I was there I would of heckled them yelling "Paul is a lefty!!" Well Sean looks like you had a great time!! Thanks for the photo tr!
knottslover77 Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 What pavillion is Soren at, because I'm going ther for the first time in Decmber/Januaray. --Jay
DarkStitch626 Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 He is at the German pavillion. Well the spitting thing leaves a puddle of water on the ground so quite often then waits like 5 minutes.
Primogen18 Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Nice pics and I agree that chinese lady thing is halarious, I wish I could have seen that haha. Also, actually, I noticed that too mike LOL, as odd as that sounds because I listen to a bit-o-beatles myself but I never thought id notice something like that, but you see that in alot of tribute bands as well. They don't even look anything like them haha. ah well, looks like a good time and looking forward to the rest. Also I'm in the same boat with you on "Dr. Doom". I was SO glad it was a literal walk on afterwards because If I woulda had to wait for any length in that obnoxiously long queue for less then stellar standard S&S tower (don't get me wrong I love towers), I woulda been a lil pissed lol. I was thinking they (being universal) woulda gone all out with some cool effects and stuff ( I know what could you do with an S&S tower but they coulda came up with SOMETHIN' instead of "really long interesting queue that dumps you off into an unthemed room wiht a reg tower with no effects.. oh wait chuck some dried ice in there for some fog OK!" ). Ah well, haha. I guess maybe it's because I had just gone on a far more superior drop ride experience the previous day a lil down the road
DarkStitch626 Posted October 13, 2006 Author Posted October 13, 2006 See the thing that annoyed me most about Dr.Doom wasn't so much the long que bad ride its not "That" bad, it was just 5 minute wait I figured I'd give it a "Shot" haha.. but it was forceless. Oh new word of advice.. people who have yet to ride Dueling Dragons.. 1. Don't care about the switch point at the station you can easily walk under the rope to switch station sides anyway 2. Be prepared for a 2+ mile hike in the que line and the building itself! 3. Be happy it has a secret "Re-Ride" door instead of the hike a second time.. 4. Don't be scared that the lift will stop if your train suddenly slows down to a snails pace to wait on the other train to duel properly.. haha.. 5. For Elissa's sake on fire dragon don't be afraid of falling metal on the brake run HAHAHA!!! crap.. 6. Do not ride if you are afraid of either foot choppers. 7. Do not walk through the que line if your afraid of hedge mazes haha the que is like a maze in itself!

phazan Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Nice TR Sean! Those were some cool pitctures, they really show how much work Disney puts into theyre parks! I gotta get out there sometime...I'm glad you had a nice time!
DarkStitch626 Posted October 13, 2006 Author Posted October 13, 2006 Something funny about that broom its not Side-Broom.. Its Back-Broom! ( look at the hands)...
