SFMM meet: Wednesday, May 4!

OK, I'll be in SoCal in a few days and I'll be at SFMM on Wednesday, May 4. I know most of us work the weekdays, but for those who have time, come on down to SFMM for some coaster riding. I plan to hit all the coasters in the park that are open. After that, we can do whatever. If Robb and Elissa come, you can help me beat them with bags of cotton candy until they tell me who won the video contest!

 

We'll meet at around 9 am at the front gates so we can be the first on X. Look for a tall Asian guy with a purple Burrito Bros. t-shirt. A tall Asian guy shouldn't be too hard to spot, unless Yao Ming happens to visit the park the same day.

I'm going to have to make a presence at work in the morning but I should be at the mountain no later than 2pm.

I can set up an afternoon meet. Since I'm not too familiar with SFMM and the park map on SixFlags.com is pretty terrible, name a good spot that I can find to meet and we can do it.

 

I hope you will be wearing clothes. You can get arrested for not wearing any.

 

I will still beat you with bags of cotton candy anyway.

Barry, it's possible I can meet you for the first 2 hours of park operation. I would have to leave by 12:30. But would love to say howdy!!!

Oh, be prepared to be videotaped a lot if you attend. The "masters" will have to tell me what rides SFMM allows cameras on. I would like tog et shots of pain on Psyclone.

^ Hey!! Give Psyclone a break...its never done anything to you! I kinda like the ride, its not all THAT painful..Damn, I need to move, or six flags needs to build a park here for everybody to come to! ugh!

Nah Psyclone isn't painful .. it's too slow to even inflict any pain .. I had a nice nap on it last May.

There is only one thing wrong with the Psyclone, it sucks. When I rode it last year I thought I was going to fall asleep.

I posted a meet post on Westcoaster.net, but I didn't get any replies. So it's just me, Gregg, and Elissa.

 

So is Psyclone like Hurler? Hurler kind of bored me. I rode it 4 times nonetheless!

The worst part about Psychlone, IMHO, is not the rough ride, although that sucks pretty badly. It is the incessant squealing of the trims. If I were to suggest one thing to ride it with, it's EARPLUGS!

Most people say that Psyclone is rough and I agree on that. I wish I could come, but i have boring school to attend. However, I can attend on the first.
