Sasquatch Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Ok this probably wouldnt ever exist, but what the hell i made it anyway. Its basically a hybrid of a Arrow Shuttle Loop, a Schwarzkopf Shuttle loop, and a Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster. This one is the prototype, the small version (im hopefully going to get 3 sizes; 350ft, 700ft, and 1000ft) and is incredibly titchy. 36ft Loop kind of titchy. Enjoy! NOTE: Station not quite finished yet, but that can something for you to do Gerstlauer Spinning Shuttle Loop (small).nltrack
Sasquatch Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 Ok i have now added the other side to the station (but still not finished it), and i have improved the supports on the loop by changing it to a box-beam style support. Also, i scrapped the spinning idea so heres the result: Gerstlauer Spinning Shuttle Loop (small).nltrack Well, here ya go.
Sasquatch Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 Really? Give me some comments/criticisms! I need to know where i need to improve with rollercoaster designing; being 14 i have nothing else to do
benzo41190 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 That sounds really cool, I wish I had 1.6 yet. It was supposed to be sent out a week ago Has anyone else received there free copy yet?
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 ^ e mail them you probably didn't sign up for the newsletter when you regestired so they never sent it to you. Thats what happened to me.
coasterfan200692 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Umm, that was boring. I know that how real shuttle loops are but if your going to make a ride, lets make it more fun and exciting.
MARK Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 It looked cool when it was spinning through the loop.
xascher Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Maybe you should change the track into a maurer sohene spinning, with 3 cars per train. Then lock spinning on the end and starion peices, and unlock on the others, it should make it a bit more exiting, and slightly more realistic, while still SPINNING!!!
Golfie Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Neat supports - very Santiago Calatrava inspired. The only problem I have with the coaster is the drop right before the loop - it pumps terribly when going down at the beginning.
