NitroRider Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I have been working on this park (that is heavily inspired by ECZenith) for a few days and thought I would show it to you guys. It has been being built much faster than I thought it would be and I think its great so far PLEASE tell me what you think. Current Coasters: Spiderman: The Ride-B&M Invert Golden Lion- Intamin Rocket with inside 200 ft. tophat Flying Unicorn- Junior Coaster Neptune: King of the Sea- B&M "small" floorless There will be NO Dueling Dragons in this park! Other Rides: Storm Force Accelatron- roundup style ride Spideys Web Spinner- Discus JPRA- Water Ride Teradactyl: Skycoaster Stuntman Training-S&S Slingshot (in studios chunk of park) Themes: CityWalk Marvel Street Jurassic Park Lost Continent Safari Outpost Studios Pics ! Studios and Citywalk Worlds of Adventure side and citywalk Golden Lion Golden Lions tophat. Most of Neptune Teradactyl (sp?) and Mythos Double Down Drop on JP River Adventure JP Jeeps. Second even more twisty half SpiderMan: The Ride.(First half)
ECZenith Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Wow... wicked original. I like the drop on JP, kind of looks like this one doesn't it.
coasterdude5 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Nice park, I knew I had seen that drop somewhere else.
IwantRevenge Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 The whole thing to me looks like a cheap rip off of ECzeniths park.
kennywood!007 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 ^That was a little harsh man. We don't gotta start fights here.
goleafsgo Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 i think you need to spend more time on the custom supports. The supports on neptune look like you spent about 2 mins on them...
NitroRider Posted September 6, 2006 Author Posted September 6, 2006 Is said it was inspired. ^the supports are going to get entirely redone for all the coasters tomorrow because I didn't like how the came out. I will also change the River Adventure and just have it be a normal drop. The other parts of that ride are nothing like ECZeniths though. Also ther are some lighting effects in the rocks at night that I think are awesome. There will be an update tomorrow so check back!
ECZenith Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I hope the "no fights" comment wasn't aimed at me. If anything, I take things like this as a compliment and not an insult and love to see creativity and effort in any form possible. A 22 year old complaining that a 12 year old copied his idea would be pretty sad. Â Again, JUST A JOKE. Stuff like this has not and never will bother me.
IwantRevenge Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 ^ Nah it was aimed at me becuase I said it looked like a rip off of your park.

I was responding to Iwantrevenge's comment, cause I could just see that as turning inot a battle with Nitro..
NitroRider Posted September 6, 2006 Author Posted September 6, 2006 Sorry but my computer just decided to say "Failed to create direct3d device" then comes up with the RCT3Plus.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Now my brothers pointing lasers in my and trying to kill me, so gotta go. EDIT: my computer fixed itself so this park will be continued. v The golden lion is just supposed to be a standard rocket but with one innovation. And yes I do think that that kind of coaster should have a longer thrill, but this was supposed to be a standard tophat/hill brakes done kind of ride.
crazywildmouse Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 hey i'm new to this forum/rct but i really like this park. it has a retro vibe and the rides are funky. i've been looking around and i don't think it's too similar to the other, i mean, the similarities between the coasters are like saying that one artist is ripping off another when he does a painting of an angel. it's all been done. imitation is flattery and philosophy. personally, i think it was enough of a similar feature to recognize but liberties were taken. i am highly enamored of the dinosaurs, and i wonder if they will be moving when the ride is finished? also, i wonder what's the feasibility of making the golden lion a little bit longer? i love those kinds of coasters but the thrill is never long enough and i never know why! would love some expert guidance.
NitroRider Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 Update! Safari Outpost, Jurassic Park, and the Lost City are complete! The next step for me is to finish Superhero Street an dCityWalk then move onto the Studios. The double down on JPRA is now a standard drop throgh a tunnel with more cool llighting effects. Animals and an elephant tour have been put into the Safari Outpost along with more buildings, a ride phot, food, and souveneirs. Lost city has recieved a new ride and some for theming and supports for Neptune. More pics! Finished Lost City. Elephants. New buildings. Lighting at night. New drop and tunnel.
onewheeled999 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I love that heartline before the lift in that last pic. What's it called, a Jojo roll or something? But it's awesome. I hope the peeps like it!
jarmor Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Wow im liking the whole new universal thing. Keep up the good work!
NitroRider Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 I chose Universal because of the Jurrasic Park and Lost City and I'm t he best at doing those themes. THanks for the comments!
the sound Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I am an inspiration? Woooooo.  In all seriousness, you have been an inspiration to me.   ANyway, i like this. it looks like a nice park. Spiderman looks absolutely insane!  Jurrasic park: I prefer this version of it to Sean's (Sorry Inspiration!). It looks really cool.  The Terradactyl is an awesome idea also. Can't wait to download!
mike541x Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 This park looks great. I like Spiderman it has a cool layout.
coasterfan200692 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I'd be careful putting such a small half loop after such a large loop on that suspended coaster, that would probably not feel to good.
NitroRider Posted September 27, 2006 Author Posted September 27, 2006 That ride is COMPLETELY unrealistic, and any way I don't think the train would be able to get through another laarge loop.
coasterfan200692 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 That ride is COMPLETELY unrealistic, and any way I don't think the train would be able to get through another laarge loop. Well thats fine, sometimes its fun to bend reality.
