coasterbill Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 My idiot 14 year old brother seems to have managed to throw a rock at an 8 year old and busted his head open. The cops just showed up and brought him to the station. I dont know what the hell he did since at the time I was on a Yankees forum. And I was just curious as to what the penalty could be since I am not up on the Law. (He is a first offender). ... What an idiot. The reasons I didn't go with him are A- He deserves it B- The Yankees are playing tonight
Homer Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Why would he want to throw rocks at an 8 year old anyways? -Carl "Yep, your brother is a dumbass" F.
coasterbill Posted April 18, 2005 Author Posted April 18, 2005 good question that I dont know the answer to
maliboomer Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Since it wasn't technically an accident, he'll still get some sort of punishment but he is only 14 and first time offender so it won't be too bad. Basically, DW. EDIT: Yah! 300 pointless posts, bring it Hattuchili!
Wes Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Do you live in Texas? I think you can get the death penalty for that.
maliboomer Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 ^ For the second time, Wes says a sarcastic remark like I wanted to, but didn't as I'm much too nice. Edit: OMG, 302nd post! If you take out the zero and minus ten, you have Wes's age! FREAKY!
Movieguy Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 I'd say that I'm shocked to hear this happened, but then again when I was 14, I knew about other people my age who did stuff that was even worse.
SharkTums Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 Your parents will have to pay a buttload of money, your brother will do community service and undergo counseling, that's probably the major extent of it. Elissa "stupid kids" Alvey
BiCoastal Kid Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 He'll get anger management, which having that will just tick him off more. I would just keep him away from larger rocks next time.
CoasterFanatic Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 The extent of the injury is probably the biggest factor in the punishment. He isn't going to do any time.
coasterbill Posted April 19, 2005 Author Posted April 19, 2005 That good... I mean, if he does... he deserves it for being such an idiot... and Anger Management would be a good idea
FlyingScooter Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 Worst case scenario: The kid he hit ends up w/big Medical bills and psychiatric bills that your mom and dad will have to pay for. He might get community service as a punishment. Was the 8yr old instigating him? When my oldest kid was about 12, a pair of 8yr old twins (boys) were bothering her all summer. I mean, she couldn't ride her bike w/out them bothering her. My wife talked to the brats folks, and zilch, they did nothing. She took matters into her own hands, jumped off her bike and beat the snot out of both of them. The neighborhood cheered her on. it seems that those twins were bothering half the kids on the block. the cops came, the neighbors witnessed it, nothing happened to her. ps. the brats never bothered anyone again.
