socalMAN123
Hey everyone! I just got back last night from Orlando and boy, was it awesome! Not only did I ride some awesome coasters, I met some great people and I got to see the shuttle on the launch pad! Well, enough of me explaining, I think I'll get onto the pictures. Thanks for reading! ---Brent
ECZenith
Where's the pics? It's always intersting seeing what westcoasters think of our side and vise-versa. Will you have a full TR as well?
kennywood!007
Sounds like you had an awesome time. Can't wait for those pics!
socalMAN123
PART 1: ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE *not in any particular order **Islands of Adventure continued to be posted later The Cat in the Hat has it right. Rock on, rock on! What is that?! The only car my sister will ever have. Random triton. You know, this was actually one of the better shows at Universal. Basically the skyline of Marvel Superhero Island. Oh, and BTW, Hulk was the best coaster of the trip. The best part of Hulk by far is the zero-g roll. It rocks! Come on our ride and we promise it won't be lame like the one in California! (stupid Knott's) Yay! Credit! Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls. THE best log flume I have ever been on. It's Mailboomer themed. This ride is amazing. Defenitly blew me away. We finally got inside the park, and since we stayed at a hotel they let us in an hour early so we could ride Spiderman and Dr. Doom. The sign that we are actually in Florida. Yay, a theme park! Mr. Volcano
Hey! It sounds like you had a great trip, nice photos I enjoyed viewing them. Did you get your Pteranadon Flyers credit? It took me along time to get on that ride believe it or not, and I go to IOA all the time! (or use to anyways) Glad you had a fun trip! -Justin
kennywood!007
Yay pictures. So I see you liked Hulk Can't wait for more. Which Dueling Dragon did you favor?
coasterdude5
Great TR, and I also believe Hulk is the best coaster in that area.
Jumboshrmp
Nice photos. However, I do prefer both Dueling Dragons over the Hulk. And (don't hate me) The Incredible Hulk Coaster is my least favorite B&M coaster in Florida. That's just my opinion, I've been on them all now. In that area, I say that Kraken is the best coaster. In the overall state, it's #3, just behind Sheikra (#1) and Montu (#2). But IOA is such an awesome park. I can't wait to go again later this year! I hope you have more pictures, and I want to know which Dragon you liked more. I like Fire more overall, but I think Ice gives a better front seat ride, and Fire gives a better back seat ride. socalMAN123
To answer the question: my favorite dragon would have to be Fire. Even though the rest of my family disagreed with me, I would have to say it provided a more intense ride. But, just as Andrew said, I think Ice has a better front row ride. I'll post my Part 2 Islands of Adventure pics later. ---Brent
CommanderLock
Is it me, or does that triton look like something familar...? *snip* So that's where RCT3 took inspiration from for the Atlantis theming... Is there a stone head somewhere? Or even big stone legs? ANYWAY... I've always wanted to go to IOA. Seems like a great theme park that isn't exactly all family based, but isn't all Six Flags either. Akdar
I'm new here, but I'll chime in, Fire is my favorite, IMHO front seat on fire kicks some serious butt!
jynx242
Thanks for the pictures. It looks like you had a great time. Even though I am only ablut 5 hours from Orlando, I still haven't been to IOA. I will definitely get there this season though - looking at your pictures and others from IOA I realize that I am really missing out. david
socalMAN123
I'm sorry there hasn't been an update in a while, I wasn't able to get to my computer yesterday. But, tonight, I'll post the rest of IoA and Universal pics. ---Brent
