CaseyFish Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Okay everyone, Here we go our very first Trip Report. Woohoo! Well we did not plan this trip. I got a phone call that said, get home throw some clothes in a bag, we're goin' to the mountain! We drove down Friday night at 9pm made it there by 4am, did the mountain and were back home by Sunday 2am. Well here is the madness I hope you all enjoy! We walk in, and there is the photo girl asking me, "Sir can I take your picture," Sure no problem and I hand her my camera, talk about confusion! OMG....Graham says to the cashier," Excuse me miss where do I put my arm & leg?" Finally, 7 hours of driving, 5 hours of sleep we are here, and then we see this.... YEAH BABY!!! It's the Mountain! Sweet, they sold their kids for $100 bucks each, probably to pay the tow truck driver! So we sleep for 5 hours and I wake up to this. Oh boy look I don't even have to bend over to wash my head...yippee! "California! and it only took us fifteen minutes to get here!" "and on your right, we have now entered....." "Verdi & Cigarettes, the best Reno has to offer!" And this is Tour Guide Graham, showing us points of interest in the pitch dark, "On your left you will see"..... Okay here we are in the car, Bree is behind me and we are all still in a good mood cause it is still early. That's right we leaving Reno!

"Yeah Goldrusher, my knees feel fantastic right now." See I told you hiding behind Graham wouldn't help! Perfect, behind every good man, is a smart women who doesn't want to get wet! Okay guys back up just a little bit more........ Bree's first ride, she doesn't do coasters, can you see the terror in her eyes! You would think the staff would notice this in the queue of Batman, nope, this just tells me the Mountain may no longer be a "Elissa friendly park." The cops were in a hurry cause we were witness to a murder..... Bree gives me her best I'm Batman going to a disco pose! The park opens and we decide to go back to Batman, wow this place sure is crowded! Dude, the Trix Rabbit called, he wants he Lime-Green shirt back! The crowd, great, I figured ya know it's a Saturday it won't be busy....what the heck was I thinking!

I hardly fit in some trains already (think Arrow corkscrew trains... so TINY!) and I'm still getting taller. Good thing I got my Deja Vu credit already... I'm only two inches away from the limit, and only 15. Same with Top Spins.

I respond, "Well there a bunch of Fat people, who decide to save a coaster and they get a free buffet out of it!" He thought that was pretty funny. Yes another pic of me trying to fit my legs in a car, being tall sucks sometimes. "I want off!" lol "Hiya, Fanboys, do you want me to lick it for ya?" If this pizza was cooked for five more minutes....it would have been great. Feed Me!!!! Me Giant, Me HUNGRY!!!!! Come here baby! Right after Bree and Grahams first ride on Riddler. Okay Two of the BEST ride ops EVERRRRR! Please let me introduce you to: Bobonya and Drillin. Yes those are there real names! We decide we are gonna race the Flash.....this guy takes his job WAAYYY to seriously! The three stooges want to ride again! We must be crazy!

So afterwards the dragon passes out, I am not touching that thing...We had an awesome time, and just think we will all be back on the 19th Robb:) OH MY GAWD!!! NOOOOOOO that was mine and now he has goo all over him.....great thanks Graham! Bree says, "Well since there are no Fanboys here, I will just have to make due with this," Ummm hey where did my green dragon go? My Green Tatus Dragon will kick your Red ones @ss!!!! The Green one is MINE! It is the mightiest Tatsu Dragon of them all! FLYING TATSU DRAGONS!!!!!!!! Yeah we look really tired in this photo, Okay so on the way out I spot something to play with....... Phew, thank you Bree:) They are so cute together. NO Graham I am not Bree, stunt double!
pvcoasterguy Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 ^ Hell, ACE doesn't even save coasters. Zippin' Pippin' just got sold for only like $2,500. PGA removed Tidal Wave the year after they got the award. Anyway, "Bobonya and Drillin" LOL... best thing EVER!

Just curious, of course TN is down or I would check myself. Nice TR. I wish I was only 7 hours away from maintenance mountain. Oh wait, no I don't.

DerekRx Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Still not as good as the shower Robb, Elissa, Dave, and I experienced at SFOG. The faucet was broken so if you wanted the shower to work, you'd have to plug the hole with something like your finger. Otherwise the water would shoot straight out of the wall down at tub level. Best free upgrade ever! Even Casey would have said the hotel room was huge!
