This year I decided that I was going to get a job at Worlds of Fun as a Screamster. This was truly one of the coolest experiences I've had in my short lifetime. There aren't many people who can say that their first job was in a haunted house. I decided that I was going to work in their new maze this year called Bloodshed. The Worlds of Fun website described it as "Processing at the Old MacDonalds Slaughter House gone horribly wrong." It is one of two new attractions for their Halloween Haunt this year, the other being CarnEvil a haunted midway with clowns and crazy carnies. I am so glad that I decided to work in Bloodshed. The people were great. Not the freaks that I was expecting. Our house won "Attraction of the Year," and "Maze of the Year," edging out Lore of the Vampire in the last night. These picture are from three days of work. The pictures at first are a little crappy but they will get better as the update progresses. The first night I was using a crappy disposable camera, the second night I brought my normal digital, but I was having camera issues, and the last night, the night with the most pictures, turned out pretty well. I promise it gets better over time!!! Well enough of me talking let's get to the exciting part! Just bare with me, this is my first trip report. So any pointers would be appreciated That's all I have from day one. The next update will feature some actualy pictures of the house! Just be patient. Beej loves ghosts! I copied Beej! This is me in my costume after I sweated off my make-up. Here is a scene in the saw room. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out what that saw does... A pig and his bone. Hey man I did the Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Holiday World trip this year with my family. I was impressed by all of these parks. But if I had the choice between this and the East Coast Trip, I would choose east coast in a heart beat. Especially since you've already been to Cedar Point.

Ha I got lost for a long time in the strobe part of Asylum too. Everyone was following each other and nobody knew were to go. The Asylum people do a great job as well.

First day was yesterday and I had a lot of fun working in it. I got two people on the ground. Did any of you have the oppurtunity to go through it yesterday?

I think most of her stuff is pretty hilarious. But I can understand why people wouldn't like her.

My first job starts on Saturday. I'm working Bloodshed at Worlds of Fun's Halloween Haunt. How many people can say their first job was scaring people?

Wow I just got the news of his death through the chat room. It shocked me. I didn't know him personally, but we had some really good conversations about his closed circuit radio show he had and he gave me some really good tips on how to maneuver Cedar Point. He was a very nice person and was a joy to have around the forums. He will be missed.

Haha I know how you feel. I went to Cedar Point in June and I honestly thought the staff was even better than Holiday World's. It seemed like everyone enjoyed their jobs and everyone was extremely nice. The Mean Streak crew was awesome when I went. Cedar Point really surprised me.

My family and one of my friends went to Cedar Point and stayed at Hotel Breakers. We were there for three nights and thought it was worth the extra money to stay there. My family aren't the kind of people who can walk around amusement parks all day multiple days in a row. So while my friend and I went to the amusement park they slept in and kind of relaxed on the beach and swam at the pool. It was a great place to stay because we could kind of do whatever we wanted the days we were there. The room we stayed in was pretty nice. It was a suite since there was 6 of us. The service was good and we didn't really have any complaints. The hour early access to the park IMO was a little overrated. It may have been just how we handled it though. We entered through the Wicked Twister gate instead of the Magnum gate because we didn't know about that gate. We were wondering how we had like a 30 minute wait for Maverick after we jogged from Wicked Twister to Maverick. But we were able to get on Maverick and Millennium Force in that hour. Waiting about 35 minutes for Maverick and 10 for Millennium Force. But I don't think you can really do wrong with Hotel Breakers.
