  1. I think you're right--booze will probably help. As for the costumes, they look like an odd mix-and-match of the 1970s disco and 1980s rock video fashions. I think the reason why Electronica went over so well, is the simple fact that electronic/dubstep music is popular. Love it or hate it. The Tea Party band better be amazing so I forget about the high drink prices.
  2. On the subject of Vortex, it's really not a bad coaster, just short and could use some serious train work. I've had some spectacular rides on it and some pretty awful ones as well, it really depends on the condition of the train. When the train is locked in and running well, that is a kick A$$ little ride. Personally, I have never had a decent ride on Vortex. It maybe due to my height, but I want to have kids some day so I avoid it at all costs.
  3. Awesome photos! Thanks for the report!
  4. Awesome coverage! Cant wait to finish watching the rest of these videos
  5. Man, oh, man! This is going to be amazing!
  6. If that ever happens, I'm so there as a spectator! But will probably be made into a victim. Great update to a great event as well Robb! Thanks again to Knotts, TPR and Miceage for putting an extremely fun night together, and making my first ever haunt event so memorable. Glad peer pressure prevailed and you went in!
  7. Sorry they are so late, but here are a couple of pictures taken with my iPhone while on the back stage tour. Let me start off by saying, THIS EVENT RULED! and hard, very, very HARD! Many thanks to TPR, MiceChat, & Knotts for putting on a first rate VIP Event. Andi and I, waiting to get our VIP on! first stop on the tour, Delirium walk through with its creator Q&A time! someone call the Orkin man! dude, Willie Nelson needs to cut back on the herb... pardon me, do you have some Binaca? Robb, your dates here! mmm Gyro! Shabbat Shalom, this prop is circumcised! Delirium gives plenty of head this dude ruled, "FIRST, LARGEST, BEST" make up and fx getting it done! what are YOU looking at?! saw this mask out in the park later in the night And thats all she wrote. I really wish I took more pictures, but I was having WAY too much fun! I cannot wait for next years event!!!!
  8. We just finished Disneyland, & are soooooooo excited for knotts!!!! Say hi tomorrow
  9. This is awesome news, and makes me so happy to read that the park will remain I have been going to the park since the Marriott days, and even though its a shell of its former self, I do love the park for what it is, and what it could be. "back in the day" Im a little more hopeful for improvements considering a local firm will be managing the parks upgrades, and not a company in the mid west. Hopefully they can bring the charm, and excitement back to CGA. I also heard that in order for the 49er owners to seal the deal on the over flow lot, they themselves had to invest some capital into JMA.
  10. If and when the new stadium is built, I could see a company like this possibly getting into a licensing deal with the NFL and/or any other major sport association to help create a sports themed park. It would definitely help money & promotion wise, and could also give the park a unique spin. Plus they could sell packages for games/park entry. Just a thought... a thought I kinda hate
  11. The LA Metro 460 bus has a stop at the Disneyland bus terminal, and goes by Knotts Berry Farm. The head sign will say 'Downtown LA' and the cost is $1.50 per person. It is a 24 hour bus. You... you're good, you
  12. I am still waiting for SFMM to reclaim the title of "coaster kings" with ! Robb, please schedule all the trolls in this thread for some ERT at a future West Coast Bash!
  13. Yeah, we are planning on attending the TPR/MiceAge Haunt event. That was my original concern with taking the bus... Right on Hearse! Let me know if its possible, I really appreciate it. I am just on the fence about any sort of shuttle service running that late, and am thinking a cab would be a lot cheddar. Its almost 2012, where the hell is my hoverboard?!
  14. Anyone check out the news posted yesterday on screamscape regarding the woodie? I am not one to get my hopes up, but it would be nice to have a new ride at CGA.
  15. Hey All, I could use some advice. My friend and I will be staying in Anaheim from the 22-25th (flying in from NorCal), and staying across from the Disneyland main gate . Does anyone know of a cost effective way to get to Knotts for the Haunt Event?
  16. When is the last day of ticket sales for SFDK?
  17. I will hurdle dead babies to make this!
  18. OMG I want that in my mouth, right now!
  19. Riding Medusa in the dark is worth it enough! See you all there
  20. It looks like its getting pretty high up to the top!
  21. Holy crap, I didn't know Dana White was a TPR'er!
  22. I just woke up from an hour long "after lunch" nap LOL. - Ryan "the guy sleeping under the tree while everyone else plays scavenger" Reynoso
  23. I'm pumped too! and it will be awesome to meet some SJ TPR members!
  24. Agreed. If you have the funds to spend on the Holiday Inn Express, then definitely go for it. But if you're looking to save some coin, then I'd recommend the Santa Clarita. Its about one step up from most of the motel 6's I've stayed at on tour.
  25. I've stayed at the Santa Clarita Motel before, its very inexpensive, clean, and super close.
