Isn't there a exclusive contract with Marvel & Universal (Islands of Adventure) to use the Marvel characters? That leaves WDW holding onto their Twilight Zone contract. If sure the Twilight Zone license is more costly than the latter, considering Disney owns Marvel.

While I originally planned on having WCB be my first time riding the new Ghost Rider, but the anticipation is killing me. Looks like I'll be planning a visit as soon as it opens!

I am with you on the color contrast. It really looks great; bold purple, and really creepy green! Can't agree here. The car is going to look awesome racing through the course, with that creepy smile leading the way. I hope there are some good queue sounds of Joker laughs (Mark Hamill) throughout the ride to add to the visual!

Hey, everyone! It was a very wet day in Vallejo (and it wasn't just in my pants), but we braved the thunder and lighting for a special hard hat tour of the Joker! The construction is nearly complete, and we had a special unveiling of the front train! I will say this much, the rendered pov video does not do this thing justice. That, and the cluster fuck that was the last 24 hour party probably had a lot more to do with it.

I dread how crazy the event will be if they do it this year with all those supplemental attractions down for construction. That has to reduce the theoretical park capacity by at least a couple thousand. Which means more angry AP's. It will be another fun night of reading tweets! Pretty sure Disney said there would be no 24 hour party this year on one of their official Twitters.

A majority of schools don't get this day off. Usually only private/religious schools do. I don't expect it to be too busy until late afternoon/early evening.

CGA had a booth at the local Comic-Con over the weekend, promoting the new Mass Effect 4d ride. For those expecting to ride it on opening day, you may want to wait a couple of weeks for it to open.

The awesome part about this is they can create new experiences, just not the helicopter one shown. Maybe for the holidays, we can ride Santa's Revolution Sleigh.

Ill definitely be over there riding it the very first day I can get on it, whether it be a promo shoot or a pass holder preview. Oh, I will try to make it to the park for the same (promo shoots, pass holder previews, etc), but I was thinking specifically before or after West Coast Bash. Ya know, for any out of state/country TPR'ers that want to take advantage of being in California for WCB.

Disney could probably have Mickey Mouse murder a guest daily and the park would still be packed. I think that's an upcharge event. I wonder if they will offer euthanasia fast passes.

I never had an issue with crowds on opening day until people get out of work/school. Even then, it's doable. Saturday and Sunday get PACKED.

I cannot wait to ride Ghost Rider with no brake run!

I'm assuming "meeting" that team of people = a prerecorded video that hosts you through the ride.
