  1. Rush, Slammer, Quantum & Samurai were all down. Rush was being worked on, and Samurai had a cherry picker next to it with no signs of life at that or the others. My guess is that Stealth would have come to an abrupt halt, if the jumper got chewed through the wheels.
  2. Yesterday, both myself and Juggler made a trip down to Thorpe. Neither of us have been since Nemesis Inferno's opening year, so it would be nice to see how Inferno has bedded in and also to take on Stealth. Stealth was not open for park opening, as maintenance were still working on it. So off we ventured into the rest of the park, here are some random notes for the day. Inferno has really bedded in nicely, pulling some nice G's around the course. 1 train was running at park opening. Colossus was truly awful, square wheels were apparent even just going up the lift hill you could feel it. We skipped X:/ Ctrl Alt Delete? After an hour Stealth had opened with 1 train, this stayed like it for the rest of the day. We timed it just right and got the 3rd train out in the front seat, although I have done TTD this is still a great ride for half the size. Juggler now cannot wait until next years USA Tour. About 4/5 runs after us someone decided to take on a loose jumper resulting in it getting ejected on the Top Hat, it eventually came to rest on the track about 30 feet up. Resulting in the ride being closed for well over an hour. Ride ops were blaming the rider, but they really have to take the blame themselves for not checking for loose articles. We carried on around the park, taking in the rapids, log flume and the relocated Flying Fish. Juggler rode Vortex, whilst I sat out on this way. After lunch Stealth was once again running, we looked at the queue but it was well over an hour long. The single rider queue was not going anywhere quick. Inferno was by then running two trains, but were constantly stacking them. At about 1.30pm we decide to call it a day, I headed home and Juggler set off to see other friends in South Wales. Onto piccys. Does this Top Hat suit me? Weeeeeeee! Back in action. One more Inferno shot for good measure. Porn shot for Derek. Inferno was running great. Spin cycle, ouch! Don't fancy getting that wet. But not for long..... Finally open! Intamin porn. Open damn you... Juggler awaits his first Top Hat fix. Not open
  3. That does look like a ridiculous amount of wetness on Bandit. LOL Glad your all having a good time, Japan is still a long way off for me.
  4. Alan, that car looks familiar. Where have I seen it before? Anyway, below was my car before I sold it earlier this year. I'm currently driving my Mom's 96 VW Polo. It's a 2004 Seat Ibiza 1.2sx. Spanish styling, German engineering and one nutty Brit that used to drive it. My Mom's Polo is behind it.
  5. My guess is the Pigs are part of the advertising of the new Altea XL Model, and yes the Ibiza is a great little car... Great TR, Dragon Khan could certainly do with a new coat of paint. Tibidabo just looks insane, but the views do look breathtaking.
  6. Another 3 from me tonight. A mix of Malted Barley and hops, makes for a nice refreshing ale. An Englishman likes his TEA, So that's what I had. Traditional English Ale from Hogs Back Brewery. Could not really pick up any Chocolate taste, but has nice amount of Roasted Malt's. Really enjoyable Next up was Black Chocolate Stout from Brooklyn Brewery Nice Citrus aroma, and taste to it. A very nice Summer Ale. First up was Taiphoon from Hopback brewery.
  7. Only ordered the one Dead Guy to try it, have a couple more American Beers sitting in the cupboard (Dixie & Brooklyn) Those will be for next week.
  8. Just finished off tonight's Beers. Nice and hoppy, but could not pick out the Raspberry's I picked up in April. Maybe I still had the cherry taste in my mouth, also I do not remember it being so cloudy. But there was an awful lot of Sediment in the bottle. Lastly was Iceni's Raspberry Wheat, I tried this at the East Anglian Beer Festival back in April. Very red in colour, does not even taste like a beer. Just pure Cherry's, very drinkable. Secondly, Sam'l Smith Organic Cherry Beer. This is what was left after the bottle decided to explode on me. The bottle says "a complimentary coffee aroma" I may as well of gone to Starbucks, as that was all I can taste. Just pure ground coffee, still rather nice though First off was Espresso Coffee Beer from Dark Star Brewery. 4.2%ABV
  9. Flamingoland in just over a weeks time, with Juggler, Nodders and a few others
  10. Time for an update from me, I have finally had my Beer delivery and I am now putting my Beer Cabinet to use. Mmmmm, Nice amount of malt's. Quite crisp, with a dry bitter finish. Next up was Madog's Ale from Purple Moose, in at 3.7%abv Although it is apparently out of date, I was assured from the Guy who runs the Beer store it was still very drinkable. It reminds me of the Thomas Hardy's I had a few weeks ago, although not as strong or sweet. Very nice... I think i'll have the Dead Guy Ale from Rogue Now what do I have first, decisions decisions.
  11. WOW! A weekend trip is definitely on the cards at some point. If it's going that fast now, what will it be like at the end of the season?? Well done GCI.
  12. ^ Always knew you had a big head Nodders! No Beer for me at the mo, as I am waiting for a large delivery...
  13. Last night consisted of Cotleigh Buzzard, Mauldon's Black Adder and... Mmmmm yummy.... Now a firm favourite of mine, Isle of Arran Milestone
  14. Just the one last night, Worthington's White Shield. This is really nice stuff, full of hoppy goodness with a slight bitter aftertaste.
  15. WOW! A long weekend trip certainly looks good for next year, those trains look fantastic...
  16. Just the one for me tonight, as i'm out early tomorrow. I did have Abbot Ale from Greene King at lunch time, which wasnt too bad... For afters, it was time for some tasty Rocky Road squares. Mmmmmm, nice malty aroma with an initial hoppy taste. There's also a hint of Coffee in the aftertaste. Tickle Brain from Burton Bridge Brewery. ABV - 8%
  17. Excellent POV Robb, looks like Valleyfair have a winner on their hands. Also top marks for GCI for making another excellent looking woodie, shame I live a few thousand miles away.
  18. LOL, I can't wait to see your reaction when you try the Thomas Hardys at the weekend... I think tonight, the Double Imperial Stout will be on the agenda.
  19. Here's wednesday evenings beverages... Lastly was Fox's Nob by Highgate Brewery, hoppy and very refreshing. Reminds me of the Thomas Hardys Ale I had a few weeks back, just not as sweet. Next up was Wobble by Hogs Back Brewery, in at 7.5%abv First up was Slippery Jack from Brandon Brewery, made of Barley. Very tasty.
  20. Well tonight Nodders has turned up, and we'd thought we try local which has it's own Brewery round the back. Something i've been meaning to do for a while. The pub is the Waggon & Horses, and the brewey is called Toll End Brewery. They only appeared to have one of their own on tap, but that didnt stop us. Tomorrow it's off East bound to meet Juggler and the rest of the gang for the East Anglian Beer Festival. Lastly it was the Pardoes Olde Swan, another local brew. Very smooth and hoppy. Loverly stuff. Then it was Falstaffes Lenny Henry. A fruity aroma, with malty undertones. First up was the Toll End P.A, hoppy and very refreshing.
  21. A couple of day's late, but here's Thursdays tasters. Very nice, the aroma is very interesting. Smell's like a concoction of soft beverage's I used to mix when I was a kid. Taste's much like Red Wine, you cannot take big amounts at a time as it's VERY sweet. I did start to struggle with it at one point. The one I have been waiting for, Thomas Hardy's Vintage Ale. Now this was gorgeous, not rich and sickly as some chocolate stout's I have tried before. Just right... Next was the Young's Double Chocolate stout from the new box of goodies. Not bad at all, quite refreshing. First up was the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, from out the first box.
  22. Even though I have not finished the last lot yet, I've had had another consignment delivered today... The Thomas Hardy's 2005 Ale at the front, is apparently the UK's strongest Beer at 11.7% It was not exactly cheap either. £3.79 for a 250ml Bottle (Approx $7.60) Nice selection here....
  23. With Robert Plant being a local boy, this has made my local newspaper. The layout of the B&M looks pretty cool, and using a replica Zeppelin as the station is very original. The whole project get's the thumbs up from me....
