  1. ^^^ LOL at Heath Back to last night's few drink's. Talk about dark... Again a nice fruity aroma to it, the taste i'm not so sure about. It very smooth and quite smoky, not sure wether I like this one.... Last one of the evening, the Cotleigh Buzzard. Now this is nice, a very fruity nose to it. Very smooth, with a nice balance of Malt & Hop's Isle of Arran Brewery "Milestone" The strongest Beer I currently have in my collection at 6% Not bad at all, quite Malty with a hoppy finish. Goose Island IPA
  2. As it was Easter Sunday, I had the night off work. So what better way of spending the evening, was to continue with the collection I had delivered. First up was a couple of the "Taste of America" selection. A hoppy drink, with some bitterness. But still very enjoyable. Back to the main selection now, this being the Worthington White Shield IPA Another malty drink with just a hint of Caramel. On the whole, not a bad drink. Second was the Brooklyn Lager. Mmmmmmmm, very malty and very drinkable. First was the Anchor Steam Beer from San Francisco.
  3. I Could Fall In Love With You - Erasure
  4. Let the tasting commence, only a couple from last night. Dry tasting and very hoppy, taste's better the more you drink it. Second one was the Ridgeway IPA. A smooth dark bitter stout, with a hint of coffee and chocolate. Very nice. First up was Mauldons Black Adder Stout.
  5. I've just come home this morning to find a parcel, from the CAMRA Beer Club. In the box it comprises of: Mauldons Black Adder - 5.3% White Shield IPA - 5.6% Cotleigh Buzzard - 4.8% Arran Brewery Milestone - 6% Ridgeway IPA - 5.5% And the Taste of America Four Pack, which was free with the first order Goose Island IPA Anchor Steam Beer Brooklyn Lager Sierra Nevada Pale Ale One happy bunny, can't wait to start trying them out this evening. The small selection WOOHOO! Just what I have been waiting for... What's this?
  6. Man it's so loud in here - They Might Be Giants
  7. Well, Thursday was the opening night of the annual Walsall Beer Festival held at Walsall Town Hall. This is the first local Beerfest I have been to in my area, Nodder's also made the journey up from Sheep Land (jk!) to see what they were offering. We were not disappointed! We managed 8 half’s in the 5 & 1/2 hours we were there, for some reason we just couldn’t take any more..... Will definitely have to attend next year's. Apologies for some of the picture's, I was using my basic digicam and it's a bit temperamental. #I fulfilled my lifelong ambition, I got me a part time job at the Sizla# How many of you get that??? LOL Oh dear...... Having fun are we?? Oh yes, another tasty ale. One I will have to look into. Another local brewery "Dark Ruby" by Sarah Hughes at 6% Damn this was good, very thick, smooth and just damn tasty! Time for the strongest on offer, the "Thomas Sykes" from Burton Bridge. In at a wopping 10% The two tribute ale's by Falstaff, "Billy Connolly" and "Spike Milligan" A comedian in the pic, and it's not me. This was the "Billy Connolly" by Falstaff. Quite citrussy in flavour if my memory serves me correctly. In at 4.2%abv Forget IPA, we have WPA. "Walsall Pale Ale" another brew from Beowulf. Strength: 6.8%abv Nodder's first drink, The Beowulf "Dark Raven" in at 4.5%abv YAY!
  8. Must admit, I did like Bell's when I visited in 2003. Zingo was a excellent little woodie, I really do hope it find's a new home....
  9. Yes, another top weekend. Only another couple of pics from me. The rest can be found here. The ugly trio. This one will be the "Chocolate Frog" coming in at 8%abv

  14. Another test? You just don't want me to have any in 2 weeks time do you?! *Runs for cover*
  15. Have not posted in here before, but seeing as I have had a few this evening. I thought I would share. Lovely stuff! Then lastly it was Batemans "Combined Harvest" at 4.7%abv Then it was Wells "John Bull", again sitting at 4.8%abv First up was Courage "Directors", sitting at 4.8%abv
  16. That's what was originally told to myself and the Juggler when we visited earlier in the year, Juggler sent an email to the park and that's how we found out the real reason why it was closed.
  17. Such a shame to lose a park here in the uk, The Flying Mistral was one of the best set's of Flying Scooters out there. But due to storm damage over the last closed season, it was never to open for one final season. I certainly will not be enticed to go to PBB if Traumatizer goes there as replacement to the flume....
  18. Been a long time lurker, have to say another excellent ongoing TR. I may get to Japan myself someday....... Keep up the good work.
