Friday seems so far away now... Why the teasing? I can't wait. -
Yep saw the same thing yesterday... I would guess so seeing as Proslide appears to have a trademark on the term HydroMAGNETIC™. Should be a great addition that has been lacking from the park. Hopefully it will have a reasonable capacity as that park can get crazy at times. I'm still trying to figure out what the Mile High Flyer that was supposed to be installed this year was supposed to be. I think that is supposed to be on for next year as well. This years printed park maps show the ride and it doesn't look like a watercoaster at all. It looks like a set of two parallel tubes going down the hillside partially open partially enclosed. In any case it looks like it could be a very nice year for Waterworld next year. Hopefully it will all come together without any issues.

Chadster's Vacation Adventures: Final Edition!
kenshinmac replied to chadster's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I need to go to Rock Bottom again... It has been a while since I visited one of them. If you really love beers you probably would have to spread it out over a few days in CO. I think Fort Collins alone is up to like 7 or 8 breweries. Then there are several between Fort Collins and Denver as well. I think a lot of them charge for samples but there are a lot of great beers. If you want to check out a distillery the very young Dancing Pines Distillery in Loveland was really friendly and gave (obviously small) samples of all their wares (really good stuff). -

Kinda bummed that when Colorado you seem to only have gone to Coors? I know it is one of the biggest in the state (not sure if it is bigger than the AB plant in Fort Collins) but you could have sampled one of the many many smaller breweries. (BTW New Belgium in Fort Collins provides 3 samples in the sampling room and 5-6 samples if you go on the free tour!) I am curious what did you think of Lakeside? Also how easy is the credit whoring around Denver? I still haven't tried to get the credits outside of Lakeside and Elitch Gardens. -
That was an insane day. I have to say I really hated the restraints on Bizarro at the start of the day but by the evening I was just loving the insanity of the ride again. Oh and the water challenge was epic... Those cups looked so tiny until their contents were soaking through your clothing. It was so much fun trying to compensate for the little air pops and those tight turns. A part of me really wanted to just dump my cup on another car below us though.

THANK You TPR

Congrats that is an amazing transformation and truly inspirational. Now the only question is when will you post your TR? Really interested in what the Pleasure Beach was like for someone who hadn't been on a coaster before. They have such a mix of rides from some fairly modern scream machines to some impressive old wooden coasters. (I wish someone could explain to me how Blackpool has more wooden coasters than the whole rest of the UK combined...) -

Thanks. It was a ton of fun at Blackpool last summer on the UK trip. Only bummer was the early close time as I could have happily stayed riding for hours longer. I hope that the new kids area is a huge success for them as I really want that park to keep thriving. -

Actually does Streak have restraints now? I never got on Roller Coaster (I blame it on the fact that the last time I visited before the UK trip last year it was a different type of ticket to the rest of the coasters...) so I was always curious what it was like. -

I just want to know what kind of comments someone like Craig gets hanging out in the kiddie area... How many of the kiddie rides did you actually get on? Looks like a great change to the park. What was the splash bash like? It looks like it would be very wet for a UK attraction although they also have Valhalla... Finally just wondering though did they just tack some new front ends onto the old trains on the wooden coasters? -
Thor: God of Thunder on Nintendo DS

Congrats on the review to Robb and all the other people at WayForward. I was just watching a segment of a show on Gamespot that was showing off parts the game and it looks amazing. WayForward is one of the few studios that consistently make amazing 2d games. There is something infinitely more approachable about 2d and well done it can be easily as jaw dropping as almost any 3d game. At this point the only upcoming WayForward title I know of is the Bloodrayne 2d title. I don't know if you are involved but I'm looking forward to a new HD 2d game (at least I believe it is 2d) as there just aren't enough of them. Really hoping for a reveal soon as the teaser site says summer for release. -

Looks like an absolute blast. Just a couple of potentially stupid questions... How large is the zoo? Is that a tent peg in with that snake? So you are able to just walk around the kangaroo habitat? Did you get to see a show (or feeding or whatever they call it) at the crocoseum? Oh and the Steve merch you took pics of is kinda creepy for sure. Robb and Elissa it looks like you two put together another amazing trip. -

I personally favoured Blue Fall over Giant Drop, but I was in the minority of our group. I might be a little bit jadded when it comes to this huge drop towers having now been on Blue Fall and Hurkan Condor loads of times, I just didn't get that OMFG moment on Giant Drop, but I think it might be because I'm used to the feeling of the ride. It was still an great, awesome, amazing ride! Don't get me wrong. I just have been on this type of attraction too many times for it to freak me out! Thanks for the answer Robb. I was definitely thinking that the additional what 60 feet of Giant Drop probably wouldn't add as much to the experience as the Blue Falls fake drops. That said I would love to go on either of the rides and need to find an opportunity to do so. Out of curiosity do you have any Intamin 2nd Gen Drops left at this point? -

It is a bit of a bummer that TOT2 is not getting higher than that. Was that the case at the relaunch or is this likely to happen at Magic Mountain too? I'm also curious does Giant Drop feel much different to the other 300+ foot drop towers? -

At least it will be easy to identify. That should make claiming it easier. (BTW epic PS... Love it.) -

I believe one can get better so probably no need for the photoshop. Otherwise I see nothing wrong with your impeccable piece of logic. -

So do ducks and very small rocks. So that must mean the ride must be lighter than a duck. Clearly then the weight of the box is correct. BTW I hear witches float too -

I hear wood floats... Maybe they are just mailing the electronics. -

That was truly amazing. I can't believe how crazy the ride looks. Sadly I can't watch the POV section for very long as it is the first thing ever that has given me motion sickness from a screen. Not sure if it is the interlacing or what but it is a bummer because it was huge fun watching up to that point. Thanks so much for sharing it though. Really great to finally get a feeling for how the ride really works.

Any idea who made that insane coaster? I have never seen a lift at that sort of angle before with that long of a train. I think with lapbars that ride could probably be fun but with headbangers it doesn't look fun.
