  1. I think if Whyte Lightning has anything to do with two parks I think it will be involving both Cedar Point and Kings Dominion, not Carowinds. If you look at the bottom of the page it says by the Crystal Rock bottling company of West Virginia, which borders both Virginia (of course) and Ohio. Maybe a clue.
  2. Ya me to it would be horrible to see a company like Mauer Sohne go away because of this.
  3. ^^Ya, and if that really is meant to be an upside down MF logo maybe it is refereing to the island Millennium Force is built on because thats where the new ride is supposed to be going.
  4. Sounds like I might have to make a detour if I head down to Busch Gardens next summer. I think this is just what Kennywood needs. I cant wait for more details to arise in the next few weeks, and months. Also from what I have read it sounds like maybe a new car concept from Premier, with a more open feeling car. (Cross your fingers)
  5. ^ Ya that is highly unlikely, they wouldn't be messing with us this much over a Topple Tower.
  6. Of course not how else are we going to solve the health care crisis lol. I loved that part from your trip report.
  7. Nice catch, the only thing I have found from a google search related to Crystal Rock Bottled anything is from Vermont and they only do bottled water. Sneaky, sneaky Cedar Point
  8. I agree, a park like Cedar Point just loves to mess with us. Sure some clues might be right but there are alot of clues that I bet are wrong or wrongly interpreted. Its still fun to let the rumors fly though.
  9. Its nice to see they are finally one step closer to opening this ride. The banner looks great and it makes the lift hill look so much better in my opinion.
  10. Wow cool to see some retro pics of Riverside before it became Six Flags.
  11. I know a what really happened, while testing one of the rings fell on the train cracking the floor and fiberglass. On its way down it caught and tour the banner. After it hit the train it bounced on top of the station and onto the final break run, damaging the mechanical components, and causing it to have a delayed opening. Mystery solved, Yahtzee!!!! Seriously though I buy the whole Fiberglass part. That could very well have been one of the many things that have gone wrong with this ride. From the moment Universal announced this ride I had a strange feeling like it would not go smoothly.
  12. Ya maybe it can be a 500ft B&M Dive/Flyer lol but seriously what ever it is i'm sure it will be amazing. I hope so, with an Aquatrax bit, and a shoot 'em up dark ride section. If all else fails, break out the hyper wild mouse. Now thats what i'm talking about lol
  13. Ya maybe it can be a 500ft B&M Dive/Flyer lol but seriously what ever it is i'm sure it will be amazing.
  14. Great trip report, I love to see all the behind the scenes stuff. I hope they still have the tour next year when I head down to BGE. Also great interesting stories about the coasters. Ooo ya and my girl friend loved the Clydesdale caption lol, she loves horses.
  15. YA! and then they will throw in the mythical B&M Flying coaster everyone thought they were getting a few years ago
  16. Wow I guess it is so quiet you cant even see it. Great trip report, even my girl friend was cracking up reading this with me. ^ and wow man put on some undies lol
  17. Best: ummmm tough to say Worst: Definatly Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Hollywood. I was hoping for another launch or something to come out of the smoke at me but it just went back into the station.
  18. I have to agree with everyone here. Rides to hit first due to long lines would be: Bizzaro (It will always be Superman to me) Batman The Dark Knight Mind Eraser Rides with usually a medium to no wait: Scream Thunderbolt Cyclone Catwomans Whip Tomahawk Catapult Flashback Pandamonuim - Use single rider line (I wish Time Warp was still there ) Also if its hot of course the water rides will have long lines, other than that have a great trip, and I hope you have great weather, enjoy.
  19. Great pics, and you are so lucky to be able to ride Big Bad Wolf before its gone. I was planning on heading down there next summer, and I was looking forward to riding BBW, obviously thats not going to happen.
  20. Thanks everyone for the height max help. My vote is for a GCI, but Cedar point has some sneaky ways of fooling everyone so its anyones guess.
  21. What ever Cedar Point builds i'm sure it will be great and I cant wait to ride it because i'm planning on heading out there next summer. One question I have about the park though (and i'm sorry if this has already been asked) is if any of there rides have a hight maximum. I am almost 77" tall and I just wanna be prepared for the rides I may have to miss.
  22. REDSOX!!!! Im so happy to see Tim Wakefield finaly get to the AllStar game. He really deserved it after all those years with the Sox. Also maby a little Garrett Atkins-for-Takashi Saito swap for the Rockies and RedSox. That would be interesting.
  23. I think Canobie Coaster pretty much nailed everthing about these two parks lol. Have fun, and as for Wildcat at Lake Compounce the closer you sit to the front the better. If you sit near the front it can be an enjoyable little coaster, but dont sit in the back, I repeat dont sit in the back. I had a horrible ride back there.
