  1. It should be open as Coaster Force is going there in June, so it must be open. But it would be worth it i spose, riding the oldest woodie in the UK
  2. For my sisters birthday treat i thought i would tag along and get my credit for Stealth, at last! After arriving at the park and getting my pre-booked tickets, which saved money, I walked over to the dome and met my friend Chris (aka the guy who breaks every-ride). He told me to go onto Stealth as i was to ride it with my sister, got half way there and she wussed out so i walked over to the area and instantly jumped into the single rider queue. After 40 mins of waiting and watching a ECC member looking not impressed by the ride i got on. I sat in the 4th car, so couldn't see much. Now i must say, this ride was good, it had a good and powerful launch, the top hat was forceful and had good ejector time at the top, the airtime was great, shame about the slamming back into the seat after. But overall 9/10, puts Rita to shame Afterwards i went over to a little ride called Colossus, been a while since i rode this and i heard its got rougher. So we jined the single rider queue, again, this was after we were told by Samurai operators to get single rider wristbands.... Anyway i was put in the BACK SEAT of the train, so i was scared about my life, now this ride has got so much rougher since last time, i was swearing at many points, and the heartline rolls i just gave up and slumped in my seat. The ride gave me brusises on my arm. Ow! Next we did Rush, which is a S&S Screaming Swing, and this was sooo good, i could've creamed in my boxers!!! The airtime was immense! Just so much of it, roughly all together is 10 seconds, which is ridiculous, but they were gay and only operated one arm . Moved to Nemesis Inferno, that was a boring ride, never ever would i say a B&M is boring, but it is, never really liked the ride, was just "loop, zero-g-roll, wingover, turn, wingover, helix, brakes" Yawn!. Thats why my POV is boring. After these rides we whored up them again about 3 times. Stealth broke down 3 times! When i was in the queue, twice when i was in the Front Row queue, hence why i got a Priority Pass, for ANY ride, except Stealth and Depth Charge (gay isn't it?) Anyway it was a great day out and i had good fun whoreing up rides. Here are some pictures. (well these are the better ones out of 300 pictures) Awww, nice picture of Thorpe Park at sunset, this was attempt #13. Perfectionist here, hehe These people i like to call C**t's, aka Queue Jumpers And i thought KFC was greasy! Look at Stealths flywheel! I like this picture, good angle, shame i fell into the fence when i took the picture. Water Dummies ORGY!!! Colossus' station, looking dismal as usual, no-one in there kinky harness, dammit! Rush! Certainly gave me a rush! (oh the pun) If anyone is wondering what that wire dangling from Stealth is, remember the stalling on TTD's top hat, tis incase of that happening on stealth./ Shameful! Almost no hands up! 65ft Water Ride or 208ft Intamin ride? I know my choice
  3. There is Legoland which is ok, but quite expensive to get into. But thats the only one i can think of in the area. You'd get two credits if you went there though.
  4. So this money will now go torwards at Tatsu clone at a Six Flags park
  5. Little did he realise that he had to eat them.
  6. I remember watching a program which showed a boy was allowed to sit in his fathers pilot seat and accidentally dis-engaged the auto pilot and the plane crashed after stalling by doing a 146 degree banked turn.
  7. Here are some more monstrosities. http://www.rcdb.com/ig2925.htm?picture=4 Aerial Glide there ^ http://www.rcdb.com/ig1412.htm?picture=8 Colossus thar in a mess of supports All SDC Galaxi's!
  8. Yeah this rumour has been flowing since 2003 for god sake, im not sure if anything is going to happen *runs to a pine forest*
  9. Im just going to change my boxers. Man its looking good! I know thats not what they will look like in quality but dang its good!
  10. I love airdisaster.com, always re-assures me, just the name is calming
  11. The weight of the train would be, but the Centrapetal force of the train would push against the track. As long as you're exerting a force 1G or greater you won't be pulling down on the track. It also depends on how fast the train is going as well, if its going fast enough then fair play it will have the centrapetal force and push up on the supports, but it would still put a strain on the supports and track either way.
  12. Is there a roller coaster you think sickens your eyesight, that you never like to see pictures of? Then post pictures of them here, for instance here are some of the ones i hate: Superman- Ride of Steel- Six Flags America http://rcdb.com/ig699.htm?picture=3 Scream! Six Flags Magic Moutain http://rcdb.com/ig2169.htm?picture=19 Superman- Ultimate Flight- Six Flags Great Adventure. http://rcdb.com/ig1976.htm?picture=56
  13. Well i built a overbank on NL and it worked alright, all it needs is just some good engineering, as you have to remember the train will be pulling down on the wood, and it would have to be like SoB's loop and be steel tracked with wooden rails.
  14. My god! Dosen't that keep up the pace of the ride, im really amazed as to what that does, it has massive amounts of floater air time as i can tell by the way it moves. Simply stunning! A must ride if i go to America
  15. Well i did before it was sharply inserted in a douche Anyone got some spare caviar?
  16. Hmm random stuff. 1. I can do fire poi and fire staff 2. My roller coaster count is 25 3. Im wearing simpson underwear 4. Ive got 6 zips on these trousers 5. I work in a maternity store.
  17. Right this is simple enough. Do you spit your chewing gum out before eating, or do you swallow it? As i swallow everytime. May be unhealthy but it seems to not clog up my tubes. Bet people thought it was something else. Filthy minds! (this took one whole weekend to figure out what could work in a topic like this)
  18. Just found this over at CF and i was freaked out to the maximum. How could anyone think of a advert like this!? http://www.consumerist.com/consumer/oozinator/the-oozinator-delights-children-170588.php
  19. I love plane crashes, not that i want to be in one, just i like to watch programs about them as they make me feel safer as they show what they do to prevent a crash like it happening again.
  20. I have decided to make it a simple amusment park, so it won't have elaborate stations as sometimes i think parks don't go for too much effect on them. Will post a lot of images as the park is 3/4 done... The flying turns roller coaster ^ The Vekoma tilt coaster Demoir ^ Behemoth a Intamin Mega Coaster ^ random street shot with a building with a Top Spin inside And a powered Runaway Mine Train ride.
  21. Tis a very good family park, i love the helix's and turns, the bunny hops are amazing! So i spose it is one amazing family ride, i count it as a thrill coaster
  22. Ever found anything in a theme park that isn't sold in the over priced shops? Like pieces of rides and things like that. Here is what ive found at theme parks.... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/DaveKotowa/SV100476.jpg The bolt on the left is from Pandemonium at Drayton Manor, it was found on the floor and is the bolt to the panels for the ride. The bolt on the right is from Colossus at Thorpe Park, it was again found on the floor, under the final turn, which was scary to think, but it had been rusty and has seemed to been cut off. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/DaveKotowa/SV100474.jpg The last one is a chunk of restraint found on the floor of a Huss Breakdance, at a funfair near me. Was an odd find.
  23. Yes that is what they do, so that the track can push against the support and ease the stress on the supports. They are found on most B&M's and even when B&M helped Intamin. Best example would be this picture http://www.rcdb.com/ig814.htm?picture=14
  24. I think there is the straight loop on the ride, where it goes up towards the turnaround and the seats do a 360 degree loop. I think that happens.
  25. Ever ridden a family coaster like a Zierer or a Pinifari that was actually a really fun ride, and shocked you as to how forceful it was? The one i rode that had a experience like this was The Stinger at Paultons Park, which is a large Zierer coaster, and the back row was phenomenal on the amount of airtime on the first drop!
