I think it was just getting older and worn down. The High Roller was a good ride..scared the crap out of me! But with thier new thrill attractions up there, i dont think the High Roller was getting that much attention anymore.. -Ryan

I guess I can agree with you... I mean, the island is something very unique, and really is different from everything else. I guess its good to see that theyre going to fix it up and retheme it. Or a tunnel. I think that would work out better as far as capacity goes. I personally think having two Pirate themed attractions is taking away from the original Pirates. They should work on a completely different theme than anything in the park...like something with Chip and Dale! Or pull a "Knotts" and slap a coaster on it!

Yeah, this is one of very few things that you said was correct. I am looking forward to change, its land that Disney could really put to use. It is sad to see it go, and to be honest, i havent read any of the books nor do i know much about the island in general. Change is always good, and I think that if Walt were here today, hed feel the same way, keep up with times.

I rode it about 2 weeks ago, and I actually found it to be one of the best rides Ive ever had on a Wooden Coaster! It just really depends on the weather, since wood does tend to warp and harden depending on the season. So luckily, I had a good ride! -Ryan
