The only Pepsi product I will go near is Diet Mtn Dew. Caffeine Free Coke Zero has done wonders in reducing my caffeine addiction.

Cracked open the Blu-ray of Pacific Rim I got on Black Friday for the kids. They loved it, but I never saw it in the theatres. Did anyone else stop giving a crap about giant robots or humanity and just want to see 90 minutes of giant Kaiju monsters destroying everything. I think I would have been good with just that.

Skylanders was introduced this Christmas morning. Kids are happy. Wallet thinks we need some time apart from each other.

I would second the Hilton Tokyo Bay for an on-property stay. Years ago I took the Alveys' advice and stayed there both times I went to Tokyo. It was almost perfect. Very easily accessible from Narita airport via NEX and JR line trains, English-speaking staff, great amenities, and the hilarious Mickey bus takes you right to the Bayside Station where the monorail brings you right to the parks. Of course the station is only a few minutes walk, but then you'd miss the hilarious Mickey spiel on the bus. There's also a convenient booth where you can buy your TDR park tickets and skip the lines to buy tickets at the parks' entrance gates which can be pretty long. I remember that being quite a help, especially dealing with foreign currency and such for the first time. If you're still curious about the other Disney hotels, you can always take a stroll through the different lobby areas, restaurants, etc just to get a feel for a stay there.

The Blackfish fans would still find a way to complain. Once they identify a villain, it's almost impossible to change their minds, no matter how many facts to contrary are presented to them. Then the media conglomerates who are generally ignorant of theme parks and over-hype any story related to the industry are all too happy to pick it up and run with it. Just look at the Texas Giant incident and how they handled that.

Sounds like you went to Walmart, not Target! Target customer service has always surprised me, along with some eye-candy while standing in line to be called. Well, here is what I did...bought everything from previous days at Target again today so I could save said 10% off and I have 90 days to take back the extras from previous days unless I find them to be good gifts for others. Nice rant, but today I had the best time shopping ever with how many good looking women there were! Yeah...the price adjustment was (predictably) denied and I was told I'd have to re-pick everything off the shelves if I wanted the 10% off. Wasn't real happy since some stuff wasn't on the shelf anymore, but at least the communication seemed real clear and everyone was on the same page. It's not being told no that gets me. It's when people don't know and instead of saying that, they start making up lies to cover their ignorance. HATE having to deal with that...

Well you gotta admit as a movie it's really bad. One-sided plot. Over-exaggerated fluff. Over-dramatized moments. And its sole purpose is to drum up hate and angst amongest stupid people at any company that doesn't agree with their narrow-minded short-sighted viewpoints. A 90 minute shot of a jar of mayonnaise would be more entertaining.

This is one of those meaningless buzzword phrases that I really wish would die in a fire. Call me crazy, but I don't think anyone besides Blackfish's makers/supporters are going to look back with even the smallest bit of regret at all the good SeaWorld has done for animals and all the additional awareness SeaWorld has generated within the mass populace.

Target has a 10% off "apology" for the credit hack going on for today & tomorrow. Problem is, I did 90% of my Christmas shopping at Target yesterday not knowing that was coming. Knowing how terrible Target customer service people are, I'm not looking forward to bringing my receipt from yesterday and asking for the 10% off as a price adjustment since everything is in the return window. It's annoying to have to dread doing something perfectly within my rights as a customer, and Target's policies, because I know the customer service people probably won't know anything about the 10% off and will proceed to pull all sorts of reasons out of their @$$ to deny giving the discount.

You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....
PeoplemoverMatt replied to PCW_Nut's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
...you've told co-workers about how your office desk used to shake periodically because there was a functioning roller coaster just a few yards away. ...your attitude on world travel is "meh" when it comes to historical sites, but throw in some coasters and the attitude changes to "YES! LET'S GO RIGHT NOW!" -
Well this will go over really well because the Japanese are incredibly obsessed with all things Stitch. I don't think I'll ever see another parade that included Stitch and all his experiment friends like Huli Huli Ohana Bash did. So now Tokyo Disneyland will have Stitch in Tomorrowland and in Adventureland at the Tiki Room. It seems a bit odd to have the same character in both areas of the park like that, but I'm sure it will be incredibly well done.
