Disneyland: The Long Version
Erik Johnson replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Even though I am a bit of a Dueling Dragons fanboy, I like Indy's queue better. The one thing about Dueling Dragons is, while the queue itself has a ton of theming, there isn't very much around the ride itself. -

This video covers just about every single attraction in the park with the exception Of Nemo and a few random smaller things. It does feature a lot of onride footage. Retro PTR: Amusement Park Vacations from the '70s!
Erik Johnson replied to larrygator's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Marineland did close for a while but it reopened a few years ago as more of a teaching/education park. For example, I do not think they have the dolphin show anymore. I believe it is the world's first sea animal park. -

2009 Academy Award Winners - The "Oscars"
Erik Johnson replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
This is the first year in a long time that I have not seen a single one of the movies that was nominated. I just think that last year's set had a lot more appeal for me. -
I would have to agree with Elissa. If I were you I would try to focus on a couple of geographical areas instead of trying to do parks across the entire country. I would focus on parks in the East Coast and maybe a few in the Midwest for one trip. With your current schedule, you are spreading yourself too thin. For example you simply need more time at Dollywood than an afternoon. You will also need more than one day at Cedar Point because there is always a good chance it will rain for a part of the day. If you are going to visit Florida, unless you have already been there, you are going to need more time. It would be a shame to only be a hour away from Busch Gardens Tampa and not go. The same goes for Epcot and Sea World. For many of these parks they are only open from about March to September.

Pretty much anything in the Three Musketeers/Four Musketeers. The final one is similar to the one in Robb Roy in terms of its realism (The fighters actually get tired). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sZc2OnwFHY

^ While I see RCDB does say that Six Gun had a Monster Mouse, I simply have no memory of that one ever being in the park. I do remember some sort of much smaller kiddie coaster though. -

Your Burrito is in the mail. You used to be able to choose from the main gate to travel over to the park either by train or the skyride. It is really not unlike the Magic Kingdom when you choose between the monorail or the ferry boat. The real question is, though it was built later, did you ever get the credit that was at the park? Six Gun Territory Train. 1970. -

It looks like the Skyride from Six Gun Territory. Do I win a prize or something? By the way the shopping center that is now in that spot is called Six Gun Plaza. -
TPR TV or CoasterTube
Erik Johnson replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I totally would buy a CoasterTube T-Shirt. The name is very self- explanatory so it works. -

Here are a few other pictures that relate to this thread. And we finish up with a final Tea Cup photo. Tea Cup Madness. Can anyone guess what this is from. I have two of these credits. Don't fly into Space Mountain Chuck. Too many characters. Rodents! It has been a long while since I have been to MK at opening. I thinkk this was on the Mexican boat ride. Yeah, the photo thingy on Spaceship Earth finally was working for me. No more boobs! No sleeping! We have rides to go check out. Totem Pole.....Check. I finally got to check out the Wilderness Lodge. Rejected!! It is true. All good ideas are though of during lunch. Do you see the lift hill? Robb tries the explain to us the "Imagineering" of Lima Bean Mountin. I still call this place MGM. I simply can't get used to the new name. There is a new Florida campaign to try to get people to eat more fruit and veggies. -

Ever had a black out on a coaster?
Erik Johnson replied to Dark Vampire's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I still get fuzzy on The Hulk in the cobra roll. I think the helix on Goliath, while riding the back row, is the closest I have come to blacking out. -
Guitar Hero World tour Vs. Rock Band 2
Erik Johnson replied to kalvin's topic in Random, Random, Random
I finally opened up the inside of my Guitar Hero drums last night and pretty much fixed my broken green drum using the popsicle stick fix. I would say its pretty much works now 95% of the time. I can now finally play on medium. -

It should be used for the next Castlevania game.
