Just a quick revival my very old thread. I really had been away from this thread. Sorry about that. I figure I could post a few photos of my last visit. Feel free to click back to page one as this thread does go back to 2007. There are a ton of older park photos in here. Happy 20th Anniversary Plus One Day Universal. I never get tired of walking through this sign. I just wanted to post a few photos of the Jurassic Park area. There has been a ton of clearing in this area in preparation for the new coaster. Just a couple of weeks now till Hagrid opens.

It took me years to finally find a item with my name on it with the correct spelling: I was really disappointed in what I found. Hard pass. -
TPR 2018 Coaster Poll Results!
Erik Johnson replied to A.J.'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have to admit that it was really great to be able to ride the top two steel coasters in the world with TPR many, many, many times last August at Cedar Point. I think I had 13 rides on Steel Vengeance and at least 7-8 on Maverick (it should have been more but I am getting old) during those ERT sessions. WOOT!!! Great poll, thanks for all the hard work. I love this ride! -
Hey all. It has been awhile since I have posted photos from a Sea World visit. I believe that it had been about a year. I was able to visit the park a few weeks ago and it was by chance that the brand new Sesame Street area had just opened. This visit also marked my first experience with the new river rapids ride, Infinity Falls. I really liked Infinity Falls and was pleasantly surprised how long the ride was. I have a few notes to share with you. The ride/ride area does not open with the park. It opened an hour after the park opening. I highly recommend that you get to the ride early as the queue can get really busy later in the day. Also, make sure that you do rent a locker to put your valuables in. Everyone in the boat gets really soaked. I admit that I wore flip flops and a poncho to help from getting totally soaked. The new Sesame Street area was quite nice and I am pretty sure families will really enjoy it. Anyways, I do have a few photos to share with you. Good morning Manta! Manta was my first coaster ride of 2019. I had been really looking forward to riding this. This is a great, though soaking, new ride at Sea World. Apparently it is the tallest drop on a rapids ride. Everyone gets soaked on this ride. You can spent a lot of money on these evil spray jets. Here is another boat about to take the plunge. SPLOOSH! Gator wants to eat you. I spent a little bit of time exploring the new area of the park. I am old enough to remember Mr. Hooper on the show. Broadway theatre fans will enjoy this. Anyone else remember the Martians? All kinds of clothing and merchandise are available to purchase. The theming in the new area is quite immersive. Well this is a throwback to one of the original animated shorts of the show. Sure, why not? That was fun. There is also a screen that keeps a record of all the recent created monsters. Oh I have to try one of these! Oh wow, there it is. It really was huge and yes it was eaten.

Great to see Thunderhead getting a retrack for the next season. It really needed one. -

I guess I have been lucky to have been able to get in quite a few rides of it over the years. Our purchase of the Fast Lane Plus passes last April proved to be a wise decision. Who knew that they would be our final front row rides on the ride? -

Twisted Timbers is a fantastic addition to KD. I found that my best rides were, after it warmed up after a couple of trains, in the back car. Lots of airtime and unexpected elements. As with any new ride there are still some bugs that still need to be worked out as it seems they were having some issues with the blue train getting stuck on the lift hill. Rows 2, 3 and 4 were closed off on the blue train all day. So there were several hours of downtime throughout the day. We did get about 6-7 rides due to us having Flash Pass Plus which I do recommend if you are traveling from out of town. Here are a few photos I took during the day. Ok one of I-305. -
I got my tickets for this year so I am ready to go. I am now on a once every three year cycle. Like Robb said, if you are only going for one night you must get Express passes, otherwise you will be spending most of the night waiting in queues. That makes it impossible to see everything. Catching up on some of my homework.

Golden Ticket Awards 2017

They should have minus points for removing Zeus from the show a few years ago. At least we still know the real truth about the origin of Texas. -
Starting in 2005, I used to go down to Universal/IOA on a regular basis. I may have had a slight obsession with Dueling Dragons so I have quite a few photos from over the years. I wanted to share with you some of my favorites. A very rare selfie, taken in 2005. The best sign ever. This was my favorite shirt. When the Dragons were repainted, this wall was placed in front of the entrance. I think it is a pretty cool logo. You could tell how happy I was with the new entrance of the ride.

The waterpark is very popular at Wild Adventures. It is the main draw. They had another rather large expansion this year in the form of Ohana Bay. I am sure the Splash Battle would be a great fit for the park.
