  1. Was that a reunion for former employees? If so, then poop on them for not inviting me! I see how it is, I've been seeing other parks, and KI just can't get over her jealousy... So childish... -James Dillaman
  2. In all fairness, he did get struck by Ninja. He couldn't hear or see it coming... -James Dillaman
  3. ^ No you seem like a well put together person... Only if you skip meals because you don't want to miss the new foreman confronting a worker who is constantly sleeping on webcam... THAT would make you obsessed. -James Dillaman
  4. ^ I always base it on how green the "grass" is in the POV. And if they include any scenery from within the park, like the Voyage in the background of the Pilgrim's Plunge POV, that gets extra bonus points.
  5. Nice pictures. The only downside is I remember going on this at LeSourdsville, and it not being nearly as intense as the other Galaxi's that I'd been on. Can anyone verify this for me? It didn't seem to have the same forces as say the one at Cedar Point or the one at Indiana Beach... -James Dillaman
  6. Should we give them the Golden Ticket Award now? Or is it better to wait? -James Dillaman
  7. ^ And bring in more money... To clear things up, I wasn't bashing screamscape in general, just laughing at the article that was posted about the Hoosier Hurricane. I appreciate all that Lance does weeding through all the junk out there and trying to find credible rumors to post. He does a great job. The one posted in this thread, however, was ridiculous if you ask me. That's all. -James Dillaman
  8. In response to Ginzo: I've been there many times over the past 5 years, and have never seen both trains running on Hoosier Hurricane, so I don't see that as a big deal. Screamscape... HA! Enough said. -James Dillaman
  9. ^ I think so, the thing is massively tall... -James Dillaman
  10. Best log flume IMO would be the one that gets you wet, and is fun and unexpected. My vote goes for the flume at LeSourdsville Lake. I got less wet after some raft rides! I like it better than the overly themed ones at the major parks like Disney and Universal, but that's just because I like vintage rides and old-school thrills. As for the worst, the stupid portable model at Beech Bend. WTF?
  11. The Beast's first drop is 45 degrees... -James Dillaman
  12. ^ To be fair, both will have to be ridden before an accurate comparison can be made... Right now, I'd say Behemoth, because it's much better riding a coaster than watching one being built. After Diamondback is finished, and you can actually ride it, who knows? -James Dillaman
  13. Did I read incorrectly that there was a tunnel, squirting geysers, and the entire ride will be more than 2 minutes? That seems like more than just a drop... You can't base things solely on the 3-d animation, as we already know there's a splash bridge that isn't in the animation, so reast assured there are other details that were left out, as they're still ironing out the details. My two cents... -James Dillaman
  14. ^ How can you fall out of an enclosed slide?
  15. ^ You can pretty much drive 90-95 through Kentucky on the way to Louisville, but you might get a ticket... Let's just say I've made it in under 3 hours before... Beyond that, I'll take the fifth. -James
  16. Really? Why on earth? There's at least a half dozen in the US alone. It's a great ride, but they are everywhere. The key words to focus on are "something like" a batman clone. By that I mean a B&M invert with that type of intensity. Although it'll never happen... As for the dual entry, I'd say that means shoes won't be a requirement. Which is good, because nobody like wet socks! -James Dillaman
  17. As of just a couple years ago, the consensus by management was never, as they don't fit in the image of the park like wooden coasters do. Is that beginning to change, Paula? I'd love for them to get something like a batman clone or a smaller intamin, but I don't see it happening. -James Dillaman
  18. Wow, this is way more ambitious than I was imagining. Good job, Holiday World, I might have to come out next year to get on this... -James Dillaman
  19. Taco Bell. That's my educated guess. The tallest Taco Bell in the world, no less. Vertigo makes you sick... Taco Bell makes you sick... All I can say is FINALLY! -James Dillaman
  20. ^^That makes sense, they'd need the crane to be significantly taller than the highest point it needs to lift to, so I can see it being taller than the eifel tower (at least the one at KI) Glad they're starting on the taller sections. It will be interesting to watch the skyline of the back of the park change while this is being built. Almost reminds me of Voyage the way the hills will pop up above the tree line... -James Dillaman
  21. Thank you for letting me relive how incredibly awesome the city museum is! I still remember the look on my fiancee's face when he produced the waiver for us to sign before we could go in! What a great place! -James Dillaman
  22. Who says MF is amazing, and who says Mantis sucks? They're both pretty good, nothing special about them, except for MF's height, coasters. S:ROS is much better than MF anyway, as is Expedition GeForce (I've heard), and I enjoy Riddlers and Chang better than Mantis, although it's an okay ride nonetheless. I wouldn't classify it as amazing, though... -James Dillaman
  23. I'm all for Ginzo buying Sea World... -James Dillaman
  24. Last time I talked to Paula, she had said that Holiday World wouldn't put in a large steel coaster, as it isn't a ride the family can enjoy together. I think if it is a coaster, it'll be a wooden coaster. If it isn't, then less than 5 years after that was said, they'd already be going back on their "philosophy." -James Dillaman
  25. I think they just completed their multi-ride contract and have started another. Chain parks don't just buy 1 coaster at a time... -James Dillaman
