nice update. I still think that they should have put at least one inversion on Phantom's Revenge... but then again, I was upset they took out Steel Phantom. Too bad I missed you guys going to Kennywood, maybe next time I dunno about the Elissa photo... I think I might have seen a worse one in a Japan Update 06

OH MAH GEEZE!!!!! the new trains are Kinda weird, Im not sure if I like them, but I'll find out in May/June I love the layout, basic, but very good. still second guessin' Bolliger and Mabillard's decision about the new train, like the "old" style (never thought I'd say "old" style). not too thrilled with the color scheme, but, I can't say it's so bad..... I just got an email, that informs me that the trim breaks won't ruin the ride, it'll still have great airtime, there is just too much speed, according to the simulation they ran. And besides, you can't really take an airtime hill at like 50 m.p.r...... and Im still not happy that Cedar Fair bought out the Paramount Parks. they haven't cleaned it up at all.

Hi there *waves* Im going to Cedar Point about the first full week of August. I was wondering what I should head for first..... well, other than Maverick ^_^ I was also wondering if anybody else on here was gonna be at Cedar Point sometime that week as well.

they should have bought new trains, not new to them aka "certified pre-owned" anyways... it would be better for them to just tear it down at this point in the game, maybe replace it with a nice B&M hyper coaster....

well for me it's obvious....... Drachen Fire, opening day ^_^ b/c I still don't think the Scooby Doo coaster at what was PKD counts I was...... four, almost five, like a month before my birthday, which is tomorrow (July 2nd w00t!)

I still say the trains on Griffon! A Griffon is not red and yellow, they have grey, brown, and gold colors.

I can't say I hate it........ but it does kinda suck. the loop was the best part..... and I'd have to say that they did waste 25 million on a crappy wooden coaster. kraken316 They should tear it down it would be a better investment than fixing it! vedved82491 lmao... next thing you know, they're gonna keep it closed another year...just to re-add the loop again.. it's true, they probably will spend a year to rebuild the loop.

that Superman: R.O.S. looks better than the one at SFA, looks waaaaaay different too!

nope, Griffon's don't do the weird swoosh then up thingy (yeah very technical, but anyways) Griffon's is more one smooth motion, rather than swoosh, then choppy up motion. yeah very stupid huh? I think BGA wanted just wanted to "one up" BGE, kinda like how some siblings do..... I personally don't think it was such a great idea to have made SheiKra floorless so soon, they should have waited until Griffon was a year old. I do agree with the person that stated "it doesn't look like a beast anymore". And I still say the color scheme of Griffon's trains is terrible. Anyways, this was a fantastic update, great pictures, great to hear a person scream in joy on a roller coaster, and great to have a good time at BGA. ....... and hopefully I can convince the ride ops to let me take my camcorder on Griffon

I think they should have made it longer, it's a little too short lived. Why don't the "X" seats rotate?

yeah they really should have added something like was previously said a castle or a mountain, or something. usually having something added, adds a whole new experience to a ride. Like Volcano or Mystery Mine, neither of those would be the same without the theming. I wonder if they are gonna use the same "mine train" cars or if it will be something more "mid evil" themed..... well, hopefully, sometime, I'll get out of the country, go to Europe......... Here's to hoping I win the lotto

WOOT HARRY POTTER LAND! all they need is a Quidditch coaster ^_^ not quite what one would think, maybe an IntaRides Rocket coaster, with a couple flips...... some air time hills, I actually had a really good design if any of you are interested.....

nice! Great photos, and video of the floor-less action. I had some pictures I was gonna post a couple weeks ago...... I have some nice ones of the water splash, and going under the bridge, and some nice one's of Alpinegiest..... but I suppose it's a little late but, if any one wants to see them, just let me know again, great photos, it's a shame that BGE has that rule now....... maybe we can ask really really nicely, and duct-tape the cameras to our hands?

Coincidentally, I believe that was also the year that the gimmicky fad died out too (thankfully). well, there isn't that much you can do with a stand-up that you can't do with a sit-down. The only really unique stand-up coaster I have been on was "Riddler's Revenge". Stand-ups were a great idea, just started a little too soon.....

I hope Kings Dominion gets rid of Hypersonic XLC. Im thinking we should make a "Griffon Opening Day" group and run to France after they open Ireland. just a guess, but it might be slightly easier that way.....

I so told my friends they were missing out on the awesome-ness that is Hershey Park. isn't that like the only amusement park left that has a zoo? are the wooden coaster always breaking down like that? or where they just having issues that weekend? anyways, great pictures! thanks for sharing ^_^
