My home parks are Walibi Belgium and Bobbejaanland, both are around an hour drive away.

Robb: "loop-de-loop", on the giant loop in the POV of Venus (Space World), it makes me laugh everytime.

Yay!, So they ARE going to build the Katapult-coaster! That's great, i've always wanted to ride one of these, but since they were almost exstinct... ...Gotta know your classics! Anyway its great Mirabilandia is building this! I just wonder what the ride will be like and how many times it goes thru the loop...

Yeah i heard about that on one of the Belgian forums, its strange a piece of metal can break off so easily, or whatever happened to it. I hope they find out the cause because this is looking kind of scary, especially on a coaster with that much airtime (Weerwolf is great!), Anywho, i'm sure that poor guy won't be riding any roller coasters again for quite some time...

Wow! the construction is getting on, when i went there last week they had only attached the track at the lower parts of the ride, now they're already doing the helixes, cool! Maybe i'll take some pics if i get to go there this month. I'm looking forward to riding this summer, looks like a fun coaster!

Looks nice! That big looping coaster looks great! Looks a bit B&M-ish, no? Its unfortunate that there's so little information on the coaster part of the park... Well i hope updates come soon, I can't wait!

Yeah i guess they'l have to speed up the lift hill then... hey! maybe they can have airtime on the top of that hill to !!! Its sad dow that KumbaK's first real coaster has failed its test run, it all looked so good and beautiful until the test and they could really use a good coaster with their name on it... they'r probarly going all DAMN YOU RED BOAT DAMN YOUUUUUU!!!! Anyway, just kidding, i trust they'll get it to work i just hope it won't cost KumbaK to much being a new company and all...

Even if the car just made it onto the brakes i would be dissapointed, i mean that hill after the first drop HAS to have airtime what other use could it serve? I think that was the idea from the beginning why else would that turn be so heavily banked? Anyway maybe they can fix it by just lowering the track a little and speeding up the lift hill, cuz it better works and they better have airtime on that thing when i go this summer...

My closest coaster is Orca Ride, a Max Tivoli by Zerier at the little Boudewijn Seapark in Buges, West Flanders. Its about an hour drive. I've never been on it before (not yet anyway) but if im close enough sometime and i have spare time i might just try it some day. http://www.rcdb.com/ig933.htm But when i really want to ride a coaster in the neigbourhood, i'd most likely go to Bobbejaanland.

These sound barriers just look ugly on coasters, first Balder, now this? The noise can't be that bad, its not like anyone lives so close to that coaster? Can't they fill up the track with sand like they did with Daemonen in Tivoli Gardens? Or is it the anti-rollback that makes so much noise? It can't be that loud? Anyway, Sorry, but just had to say something, i just think it ruins the beauty of it all, at least it doesn't change the experience of riding... .

Hi my name is Stephan (in english-like writing) but you guys can just call me RCfanatic or Buzzy (just don't ask why). I'm 17 and already a roller coaster (and donkeys) entheusiast, I live in Belgium, Europe (So my regular parks are Bobbejaanland and Walibi Belgium / Vekomaland) For some reason I am immune to most of Vekoma's roughness (I've been going to Walibi Belgium all my life, so that explains it pretty much) I also like: gaming on my PC or Xbox an watching TV, in the summer I like to go biking thru the 'beautiful Belgian biker-friendly landscape'. So thats about it, i've already posted some reply's on some other topics before I found this itroduce-yourself topic, but i couldn't resist giving some comments on the topics on this site, great site really! .

I was planning on going to Movie Park Germany this year but I changed my mind all thanks to Black Mamba, I can't wait to ride! I'll do Movie Park later this year, I'm planning on staying in Germany for about a week or so, enjoy the sights, do Freizeit Park Klotten to. I like the fact that its so low with the tunnels and ravines, just like Nemesis, and the sketches show great theming! Anyway, beautiful, great coaster, love it already, can't wait to go!!! .

Its unlikely they'll ever build that coaster, besides, Vekoma is getting smoother in their newest designs so maybe this isn't such a disaster after all. Although it is pretty laim to build another 10-inversions coaster that looks so much like its intamin equivalent, but like i said its proberly never gonna get build.
