I was at sfmm yesterday as well. Fright Fest was impressive, i got plenty of scares. I prefer it over Knott's Halloween Haunt because the Fright Fest staff only allows groups at a time.. instead of crowding the maze like Knott's does. Plenty of rides during the day with little to no wait. Later on the park started getting crowded. Like atem122 said, the weather was perfect for Fright Fest, cloudy throughout the day and drizzle (or sprinkling) during the night. I thought Colossus backwards was fun but killed my thighs because the restraint was to tight (damn my skinny thighs). X2-Area 19 was pretty cool, the giant screen in the station showed scenes of ufo's and what not, and the audio is better than the original. Overall, Great day. Ride Count X2- 2 (morning and night) Terminator - 2 Goldrusher - 2 Riddler's Revenge - 1 Colossus - 1 Colossus (backwards) - 1 Scream! - 2 Goliath - 1 Ninja - 2 Oh and ride operators say the funniest things! We got on the sky tower, and on our way up someone had asked him what they are doing to Superman. The ride operator said "they are flipping the train backwards and as you get to the top of the tower the seats will rotate 360 degrees" lol! i was laughing.

I was at Halloween Haunt last night. We got on one ride which was Ghostrider, back seat silver train. All I have to say about it is that it wasn't as rough as the last time I rode it (this was before it had it's new pieces of wood)... definitely tolerable, had a fun ride. I went through most of the mazes.. I was really impressed with the new mazes Viruz Z and Fallout Shelter. I don't normally get scared but I got a good scare from those mazes. Oh and Pony Express is back open... if anyone cares..

yeah I experience a bit of hangtime on Scream's loop as well. It was on the front row, I was pleasantly surprised. As for next Sunday, i think the crowds will be alright, much better than the last photo TR you did at least lol

^^yeah pretty much, he earns big bucks for each ride too! which is kinda surprising. lol. yeah Terminator seams to be to big of a project to be an 'end of day kind of ride.'

My friends dad works at a nursery in San Diego. He has been shipping plants and trees to sfmm ever since the Goliath days. Just thought Id tell you guys that he text me on Saturday saying that he just shipped the trees and plants ordered for Terminator. He even sent me some backstage picture of Terminator (west coast bash views) but i will not post them because it's against the rules. Terminator looks awesome!

I think of roller coasters at school when i take the elevator going down, I get that split second of airtime. lol.

^^lately the sky tower has been closed due to winds, but i don't know if that was the case today.

^^yeah man, the front entrance makes the bridge 'look' much wider than it looked a week ago.

I was at the park today too! The website said they were going to close at six today but they extended the hours till 10. Anyway, nice photo trip report!

Yeah i know them. My brother and I used to play with Sylvia's kids when we were young. My family and I are just in shock right now. RIP Sylvia Ortega and her parents.

i live in Montclair, which is next to diamond bar and chino hills, the earthquake felt pretty strong, but only lasted like 10-15 seconds, i thought it was fun too. lol.

i went to six flags magic mountain with a girl on wednesday, i found out she HATES roller coasters when we were inside the park, i managed to get her on 9 out of the 14 roller coasters, including X2 at night hehe. in conclusion, she still hates roller coasters and hated me for awhile for making her get on roller coasters, but she got over it, still had a good time. lol. anyway, silver bullet is definitely a good choice.

i was at the park yesterday, i got there around 12pm and waiting 3 hours to ride X2. The line was backed up to the beginning of the bridge. The employee told me it was a 3 hour wait, i was surprised. The old X would have been 4-5 hours if it were at the bridge. Great job X2 crew! The line seams to move, except when they had to change the train which was about 20 minutes. The ride.. They had assigned seating and I was fortunate enough to get the front row. Smoother than before, even on the outside seat. The fire and fog effects was awesome. The music was working on my train and it really adds to the experience. Definitely worth the wait (Even though i would have preferred theme park review treatment) but it's all good.

i just came back from sfmm too, all i can say is.. i had a great day! i was in line for X when it had one of its break downs i waited...it lasted for about 15 minutes, then rode it... never realized how much i missed X... tatsu having 7 minute dispatches? i thought the crew was pretty fast today.. as far as improving.. employees seam much nicer, i was greeted by every employee... hope the improvement continues...
