  3. OK So I`m planning on going to Oakwod and check Google earth to se how to get there. It shows a place called Grove Land close by. Checking RCDB (of Course) I find this http://www.rcdb.com/ig3279.htm?picture=1 Now it looks like it should be a traveling fair but then why would it be on RCDB? In Fact this photo http://www.rcdb.com/ig3279.htm?picture=2 would seem to add to the idea it was travelling. has anyone been? Anyone anty idea if it is there all the time? The coaster looks completely mad. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3279.htm?picture=3 I would definatly make a side trip o ride it. Please help if you can. Thanks
  4. ^ Thanks for that I am much happier now.
  5. Sorry to bump this up again, but. I have just found this photo of the height board from Chessington. http://themeuk.net/chessington/Chesentrance3.jpg It says Bubbleworks and the Skyway are for family groups only. Does that mean I wont be able to ride? Bubbleworks is one of the main reasons I want to go and would hate to get there and be told I cabt ride. Any Ideas?
  6. I would say dubai, but there is not really much to ride here. Yet!!

  10. What a great thread. I ecenytly discovered the existance of this park as during my uk trip in July I have an extra day spare at the start of the trip when I need to stay fairly close to Heathrow, so am going to Whore this place to death.
  11. ^^ I thik it could easily be fixed up, however judging by the rest of the town, nobody actually cares enough to do anything about it. Even if they did it would be trashed again withing days.
  12. Hey Chris, hope I dont kill the site again by just replying. I personally love your style of Videoing with cmmentry. I know some enthusiasts prefer to here the natural sound, but I thinkit is great to get someone elses perspectve on a ride experiance. Keep up the good work
  13. wow, great pics. I had it the other way round in that Fuji Q was open but bth Yokohama parks were closed.
  14. Oh Oh, Hope it wasnt my fault again.
  15. One last question. How about rotunda at Folkstone? Is there still a coaster there?
  16. Thanks for your help guys. I am hiring a car and am going to alton and thorp and blackpool and flamingoland and oakwood and seeing family, so it should be a good couple of weeks. I think I will add Margate by the sounds of it. thanks Again.
  17. ^^ Oohh, not that i` a credit whore or anything, but I might give that a try ^ Yeah I am going to Alton Towers later in the trip. Does anyone know if Dreamland at Margate is still open?
  18. It looks like I will get an extra day in London when I visit in July, I was wondering if there are any other parks, apart from Chessington and Thorpe that are withing easy distance of London and are worth visiting? thnaks
  19. I am doing a UK tour in July and am doing most of i with my 16b year old son. However I have the chance to squeeze in Chessington before I collect him so I wondered if I would be OK doing it solo? It is heavily described as a family park so I just wondered how they would react to a single bloke filming everything. Just a though, any help would be appreciated. thanks
  20. I know ots of people don`t like it. But this is my ultimate, that I have visited.
  21. Went to Hugh Cornwell of the stranglers last night. It was an acoustic set and he was fantastic, unfortunately the crowd ere dreadfull and talked all the way through. he was pretty pissed off. ( or pissed if you are American) ( Thats not Drunk, if you are English)
  22. Hmm, I really liked it. maybe its because I haven't been on a huge amount of coasters, or maybe because it was early morning. The launch was almost too intense but was great fun. I had heard about the top hat hurting parts of your anatomy, but mine were fine. The airtime is insane, particularly without OTSR. I also thing the location just rocks. T be that close to mount Fuji just blew me away.
  23. Robbie, of course!!! seeing JLo soon and Hugh Cornwel next week
  24. Before my trip to Fantazy Land I went to the park next door, Alexandria International gardens, as I thought Fantazy Land was inside. Anyway it was just a normal park but they did have a couple of rides in a corner and a road train that was actually a tractor. Enjoy Did I mention there were riots when we were there? They had a small rides section. Here are some highlights. Everyone was enthralled. off we go on our trip round the park And the seats were broken. yes it is! Is that a tractor? We decided to take the road train around the park. The entrance looked quite impressive It does look like the theme park and the park are joined.
