Sorry for the double post but trying tapatalk now. Let's see what this looks like. This should be a caption that says ghost train. And another caption saying closed. Hope this works.

I am in the uk and have unlimited Internet on my iphone but have to per per usage on my wifi and have loads of photos to upload. The way to do it is upload the pics from the app then go to web page and edit to add captions to the photos. However you can't see the photos while captioning.

At 80p a pint it is easy to get the two mixed up.

Ok. We are in the uk for summer and had been to Sheffield. On the way home I saw a sign to sherwood forest visitor centre and remembered that there was a fun park there. I am very keen to get my credits up and it was only a few minutes out of our way so we went to investigate. Can't seem to add photo comments from my iphone so you will have to just enjoy the phots

Ok. Made it to hidropark to find only the kiddie credit is still there. The looping one was closed a while ago. However the kiddie coaster was Almost certainly the most painfully thing I have ever ridden. It was literally launched into the overly sharp curves with such speed that it did feel like it would derail, and not in a good way. Was shown the defensive riding position by the ride op then the train was rolled back out of the station to get a good run up. Must have been sent round at least ten times. I have video that I will post as soon as I get back. Photos don't do this thing justice. It looks like it should be a nice kids ride however it packed such a punch that I had to sit down after. They also had a ghost train which consisted mainly of dummy's dressed in sports gear. Wasn't able to attach photos from my iphone so pics coming soon.

Elissa is right. The park is in the far corner and I don't think it was damaged. The pay area was more in the middle I believe. -
It does look like an interesting place. I will be sure to take plenty of photos.

At the end of June I am takin g a flight back to the UK via Kiev and have decided to stop off for a few days. I saw the Trip report on here from a couple of years ago and plan on hitting hydropark and seeing if the coasters are still there. I also read that the zoo might have a kiddie credit but wondered if anyone had any more info or advice? thanks

Heres a few photos I managed to snapo whilst I was down at Yas a couple of weeks ago. I looks like the water park will be stunning and the coaster will weave in and out of a mountain. i think this is a very good adition to the island and will really make it a destination. They have big concerts from Elton John and Madonna coming up soon so they are trying to make it an all round resort. Check out The Theme park Guys for some nice updates inside the park. http://www.thethemeparkguy.com/park/yas-island-water-park/ I looks like the coaster is going to be quite long lifthill goodness -

sorry guysI seem to have missed the updates on this thread. The suspended coaster looks interesting. I will have a look the next time I am down there. As for the amount of people at the parks. they do get much busier in the evenings and weekends. Whenever I visit I alwasy go when I know it will be quiet. I have seen Ferrari World fairly busy and all the other parks are heaving on a thursday night and friday afternon. Taxi prices seem about right. Yes they are much cheaper than in other countries but the distances traveled are quite a long way. If you can hire a car and driver from your hotel it works out a fair bit cheaper if you are traveling a large distance, otherwise metered taxis are cheaper for short distances. Will try to get down to Yas as soon as I can and post and update. -

Oh no. Can't believe I have missed this news. I loved thunder dolphin and ranked it as one of my favorite coasters. Let's hope it does run again -
