Well The site visit yesterday went very well and I can report that the park is stunning. The themeing is very detailed. the sheer amout of rides is just crazy. Many of the rides will have special effects. The coaster will have a lazer gun shooting section as well as water shooting capabilities. The snake slides will feature projections on the walls and laser efects along with one slide that actually shakes as you go down it. I will let the photos do most of the talking but, needless to say, thios is an unbelievably good park. here is Yas waterworld next to ferrari World view from the other side, you could almost say, the backside of water! the coaster was testing the kiddy area looks amazing The main wavepool the level of themeing is amazing one of the signature rides This flowrider will produce 3 meter high waves!

The last paragraph of thus article is rather interesting. DUBAI // A new mega-development, possibly the largest in the country’s history, was announced today by the Ruler of Dubai. Related ■ As property booms, a bust is remembered ■ Gulf Finance House returns to black Mohammed Bin Rashid City will encompass sprawling parkland, the largest shopping mall in the world, and will include more than 100 hotels, golf courses, a hub for the arts and centres to develop small businesses. The announcement was made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum and comes amid a general resurgence in the emirate’s economy. “The current facilities available in Dubai need to be scaled up in line with the future ambitions for the city,” said Sheikh Mohammed. The development will be located between Sheikh Zayed Road, Emirates Road and Al Khail Road. It will include the Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens project, which was first announced in 2008. The original masterplan suggested the gardens would be 800 million square feet, and would cost $60 billion (Dh220bln) to construct. It is not clear whether the original plan is being utilised, or a new revised plan would be adopted. The release said the park would be 30 per cent larger than Hyde Park in London, which is 15.2 million square feet. The project will also include the Mall of the World. It is anticipated the mall will have the capacity to handle 80 million visitors a year. The mall will be partly developed by Universal Studios. Originally, it was planned that a Universal Studios theme park would be situated in the planned mega theme park, Dubailand. The project has been on hold and it is not clear whether the original plans will now be incorporated within the mall. mcroucher@thenational.ae Read more: http://www.thenational.ae/news/uae-news/dubai-ruler-announces-huge-development-with-a-park-bigger-than-hyde-park#ixzz2D99aUP2T Follow us: @TheNationalUAE on Twitter | thenational.ae on Facebook

I think the reason was it was just boring. It went very slow and I don't think many people rose it. -

There is talk about a red teacup style ride going in soon. I reckon it will be here where the old carousel was. -

It was due to open with the park two years ago so they haven't had all that much luck with it so far. -

Yes you still get nice and wet. I also got to try out the new soarin style ride. It was quite impressive. The screen is massive and in the back row you go really high. As with all the other rides there is a problem with the screen and it looks blocky. But overall it's a pretty nice addition to the park. -

I'm down at ferrari world today filming for travel channel. Rossa is still running quite well. The back I very rough though. -
For the Abu dhabi hotel have a look at the yas rotana. They often do deals with Ferrari world tickets. The walkthrough of the aquarium isn't tat exciting but the underwater zoo is pretty good. Depending on how much of a credit whore you are you Can hit most if the fecs in Sharjah and Dubai in a day or less. You would really need a car from the hotel for this. If I'm not working I'm happy to drive you round the Sharjah and Dubai parks. I would agree with everything Elissa has said.
