I have no idea what it's gonna be, but whatever it is, it will rhyme with Blintimin Blega Blite. -
Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

Remember, Voyage was part of a whole land expansion. I think they said Thanksgiving land was in the 10-11million range. Now if they consider that grouping their largest ride expense, then we might actually see a ride in the 9-10million range. Hmmmmmmmm! What does a ____________ cost? Cause that's what I'm thinking. -

I have got to get to SDC! It looks beautiful. -
Dude! You're awesome! Thanks a bunch for that info. Any brilliant insight on the board foot, and green mile conundrum? Cause my day is a standstill right now until I get that figured out. I'm cool with the bakers dozen issue as I really only care that I get more cupcakes when I go to the pastry shop because of it. MOD EDIT by larrygator: Board Foot measurement relates to volume (incorporating the thickness of the wood). Square foot measurement relates to surface area. Use 1 inch wood and the number will be the same. Guy, I know you are excited by RR&R and HHN but stay focused and on topic.

And what exactly is a test hour in relation to a normal hour? Is it some how compared to a board foot in some way? for that matter, what is the difference between a board foot and a regular foot? Of course then you have a mile vs. a green mile, or for that matter a bakers dozen as opposed to a regular dozen? Ahhhhhhhhhhh! I am so confused! Meh! Just as long as it's open before HHN 2010.

I hope they do go with White Lightning as I loved that ride. -

Great TR Erik. These are a few parks that are very difficult to get to, and often get overlooked. I am hoping to get to them both one day. Perhaps on a trip such as this one. I look farward to the rest of your pictures. -
Exactly! On the contrary. Those two rides are all about phallus. Right down to the competition between CF & 6F. It's as if CF pulled out a ruler, slapped their man meat down on a table next to it, and dared 6F to whip it out! When Mr. 6 unzipped and produced his massive Kingda Ka, Snoopy got a case of sea dick, curled up and went away. With that said, I will now relinquish my opinion to myself, quietly sit back, comfort my self in the thought that I refuse to derail this thread any further. Don't pull any of your fancy schmancy, Dr. Devil speak, medical lingo with us sporto! When I look at that, I see something vaginal! Not phallic! I vote cervix! Replace whatever you will with all the penis you desire. I choose vagina! Guy "Who's with me?!" Koepp

Hey Big Guy, just a quick side note. With all due respect to everyone in attendance, and not that I'm trying to stir up trouble or anything. IMHO it seems to me that the people involved in that particular round of find tha ducky might have an unfair advantage. As in knowing pre post where all the duckies were located. Honestly, that's why I sat this round out. Again, I'm just voicing my opinion, and am in no way trying to step on anybodys toes regarding the actual game play. After all, I would gladly give up every round of FtD in order to spend more ride time with family, friends and he who is Biggest of the Mikes. Guy "Just my 2 cents." Koepp

Jizz Man's 2009 TPR Texas Trip!
Guy T. Koepp replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Awesome pictures Zach! I also loved Shockwave and hated Texas Giant. Great trip report so far. I can't wait to see the rest. Peace Bro! Look forward to riding with you again in the future! -
Gotta go with Nat on this one. IMHO that looks much more like a cervix than a penis.

Awesome TR Big One! Man, I gotta say. That Guy T. Koepp dude is one handsome devil! So charming, intelligent and funny. I would totally do him. How is it that he's gotten this far in life without having some sort of career in modeling, or acting, or even porn. Is he single? If not, does he swing? He is uber hot! You should include him in as many or your adventures as possible. I'll bet it's like one giant sunny day of golden sunshine whenever he smiles. Is it true that he is the third piece of the holy trinity? Father, Son, and Holy Guy. I have found my true love, and his name is Guy! Awesome TR Mike! It was great to finally meet you. I'm so upset that I will be missing you by only a few hours in Colorado. Have an awesome time doing the 4 corner states! Until we ride again bro! Peace & Cheers! Guy "Proud to say he is a friend of The Big Mike Roadshow." Koepp

Awesome TR. I just love Dollywood on so many levels. I was so upset I wasn't able to join you all there those two days. It really looks like they went out of their way to make the time spent in their park just amazing. Seriously, Dollywood is easily one of my favorite parks in the US. I feel fortunate that's it's so close, and that I am able to visit so much.

Oh Sh!t! I have never been on this coaster. They opened it the spring I moved out of the DC area. Looks like I will need to make an emergency trip to Virginia as soon as I get back from Colorado and LA. Hey Chuck, what are you doing mid week around the 20th? Looks like I will be there in your neck of the woods.
-
SkyZip Rocks! I did it a couple of weeks ago. If you have the means, I highly suggest it. Jarett was pissed because he wasn't heavy enough to do it.

Rrrrrrr! Damn it! Guy is flying out of Denver on the 31st and won't be able to meet up with Big MIke for a fun filled day in Mile High city. Guy would be more upset if He didn't already have the credits. Meh! Have a good one Big Dude! I will miss you. Guy "It's funny. I love the city, but hate the Broncos." Koepp

As an a$$ man, I would definitely go with #10. However, her expression seems to be more of pain than pleasure. (Unlike the classic Elissa photo.) Is it wrong for me to kinda find that erotic? Meh! IMHO it really is more the subtle nuances that the artist is trying to express in the photo that sells it as the best one in the lot. If you'll be so kind as to notice that the a$$ in general leans to the North side of the pole while the pained expression favors the South. This conjures visions of the ongoing battle between good and evil, light and dark, life, death, chicken or egg. What is our final destination after serving our time here in this plain of existence. Good being North (Heaven), bad being South (Hell). The pained expression as well as the hand holding on for dear life on the Southern side gives way to feelings of being dragged to somewhere the soul chooses not to go. In stark contrast, to the North one free floating, effervescent, petal soft, hand and a$$ appear to dance effortlessly toward all that is good and holy. It tells me that the soul wants to be in the cool, comfortable bosom of the North, but has been unfairly chosen by the evil flames and their minion that live below. It's not just some random photo people, it truly is a captivating work of one artists inner struggle. That is why #10 is hands down the winner in this little contest. You forgot to ride Drop Tower. It was freakin cool hanging out with you and the gang. Oh and guys how about the flyer take over ey? Sorry I missed the flyer take over, however, I did get on Drop tower right after lunch. Then made a bee line to Carolina Cobra for my final credit of the park.

I had a blast Sunday! The ERT was awesome! Thank you sooooooooo much Robb & Elissa! You two go way beyond the call of duty setting these events up. Also, a huge thanks to the management & staff at Carowinds! You guys are awesome! Our day there was fantastic. I hadn't been there since I was 10. It was great to come back and relive all those childhood memmories again. Thank you! Guy "I'm sad I missed the fireworks! " Koepp

"Lazer" becomes the first IKEA coaster
Guy T. Koepp replied to Kooky's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It didn't have the friction tires. It had a very weird chain style lift. And yes, it was incredibly slow. I think the only slower lift I have been on is Rolling Thunder at 6FGAdv. The only difference was that with Lazer, you actually enjoyed the going down part of the ride as well. Where as on RT the lift is the best part of the ride.
