Nice pics and report. How was the funnel cake? Was it soft? Last one I had wasn't good. It was rock hard. ! I like the outside of the haunted house. Gotta give props to Captain Spalding! I love little ghetto fairs like this. This one actually looked nice compared to some that I have been to and seen on TPR. Long live ghetto fairs! and the carnies that run them.

I'm glad you had a good time Saturday Mike. So did I! HellCat wasn't that bad, I liked it. The Great Nor'Easter's new seats were nice but my head still got banged around alot. The Polish water ice rocked! Brian got jealous that we ate at the Star Diner without him. He loves their chicken parmesan. I told him that I would take him there this weekend when we go down the shore. Next time we will go to that ice cream parlor that I was telling you about. And we will do a taste test of who has the better pizza, Sam's or Mack's. Come back and visit us soon, we loved having you down here in our neck of the woods. Next time we will go to one of the water parks. Also I know where to get the best cheesesteaks outside of Philly down there so we will get one of them next time you head down this way. You have to come down for a longer visit. One day is not enough.

If anyone wants to meet Big Mike and I in Wildwood,NJ to hit up Morey's Piers with us, let me know . We should be down there by 3 in the afternoon, maybe even a little earlier, it all depends on how our time is spent in Clementon Park. Hope to see some fellow TPR members out there.--Bobbi Jo

I know Dave likes the group Dream Theater because I saw him wearing one of their shirts in tr a long time ago. And he went to the 20th anniversary of Dream Theater show at Radio City Hall in New York back in in April 2006 because we discussed it on a forum topic before because I told him my husband listens to Dream Theater and he and I also went to that show. So anybody who likes Dream Theater is cool in my book! And I enjoy reading your trip reports, they are very smart, well written and entertaining.

I'm glad that I didn't miss out on any photo updates Big Mike cause I didn't have access to a computer while I was on vacation this past week. I leave everything behind when I go away so now I will be playing catch up for the next few days. Going to the beach everyday for the past week and a half has its advantages. I am well rested and tan and ready for the Big Mike Road Show on Saturday August 23 for our tour of New Jersey! I can't wait for that and for your photo update from your visit to the midwest,I hope your trip was fun.

I have to get to Knoebel's ASAP. It really looks like a great park.Only 17 more days until the Big Mike Road show hits New Jersey with me!

How was WildCat running? The last couple of times I rode it, it was pretty rough. So from now on when go to Hershey I don't ride it.By the way, is your UPS hub involved in HersheyPark day in October? My family and I go every year, except for last year we didn't go. If it is, you should go and we can meet up and hang out. Let me know ok? By the way, nice report and pics.

^^Yes it is true Guy, some us of us that work for UPS actually do their job. I might be in the minority in that category though.

Maybe I'll play, but sometimes it hurts my head when I count ! Besides I deal with too many numbers in the form of zip codes at UPS. All those numbers drive me crazy !

I hope that I can still ride coasters at Papaw's age. That is awesome! My dad is 67 and he still goes on the rides with us although I must admit he looked a little whiter and greener(sp?) after riding Dueling Dragons this year then he did last year ! Rock on Papa and Dad!

Fascination is a great game. We have it down here on our boardwalk in WildWood,NJ. I play it all the time. We also had a Den of Lost Thieves on the boardwalk but they got rid of it and put glow in the dark golf in it's place. You had top pay for it separately and I am guessing that people didn't want to do that anymore so that is why they got rid of it. Great report and pics, would love to hit little places like that.

Looks like you had a really fun time in New York. I would love to go see Grease on Broadway. That is one of my favorite movies. We used to reenact it all the time outside of my house when we were growing up. And what do you mean by UPS telling you what the rest of your schedule is for the rest of the year. I know you said that you are a supervisor, but what exactly do you do? Should I be afraid as union employee at UPS? Just kidding Big Mike. ^I remember those rumors to move it also. Hunt's was my favorite pier when I was a a kid too. The Golden Nugget and Flyer were my first 2 coasters. It really is sad how it went downhill. When I look at the state of the pier now, I remember how it was and what it could if the Morey's organization what put some money into it. Oh well, wishful thinking.

^I believe that you are correct and that is what is taking so long as to refurb it or not. It is such a shame to see it sit there and rot away to nothing.

I may have to get one of my relatives who actually is from and lives in New Jersey to check off New Jersey Big Mike because I'm from Philadelphia unless we 'fudge the truth a little' ! Looking forward to a fun weekend with the Big Mike Road Show!
