  1. Loving it! Looking forward to the next installment.
  2. OMG!!!! They are majikal dipping coasters! They brought Mujabubukins back to life!!!!!
  3. I have an ongoing love/hate relationship with RunDisney. They piss me off with their ever-inflating prices and ever-shrinking amenities, and yet I keep finding myself sucked back in for the medals. I have all the WDW medals (halves and full, not all the 5Ks,) so I'll probably have to cough up another $140 (or more) for whatever this new race is going to be. *sigh* And now, since my kids have voted to do Marathon weekend, again, over Key West or Houston, next January, I have to decide between running the full, or paying an extra $20 to run half of the full in the relay, for the new Chip and Dale medal. Why did it have to be Chip and Dale? I really have no interest in relays, but Chip and Dale!!!! Must have!!!!!!
  4. You, sir, are a total bitchin' rock star from Mars!
  5. You should ask him about it in an email.
  6. Every time you use your keyboard, God kills another MUJABUBUKINS. Please stop. Thanks.
  7. May the spirit of beloved Mujabubukins cough hairballs upon teh haters of our most honorous Prince saviour!
  8. I've been having a sucky, long weekend at work, but this just totally made my day! I've missed Prince Desmond so!
  9. I wonder if we might still get our prize from January?
  10. I've never seen Steel Magnolias. What is it supposed to be? Like a bread pudding/spoon bread kind of thing?
  11. We haven't been back to NYC since we got married there, 12 years ago. We're planning on a trip with the kids in the next year or two. Definitely going to have to do the pizza tour! I want pizza. And cannoli. Now.
  12. I hope you'll post a report on the Georgia Marathon - I'm thinking about running it next year! One of these days, I'll post a report on the 26.2 with Donna. I have the photos on my facebook, and a written report on a private board - I just need to put them together and post here. Not a great race, for me, though, so my motivation is a bit on the low side.
  13. Objective choice: Tower of Terror - best themed, most well executed ride Subjective choice: PeopleMover - it was my favorite ride on my first visit, in 1978, and it's my only "must ride" on every visit.
  14. I would go with the first week of June over the end of August. It's a bit of a toss-up, though. Duval County (northeast FL/Jacksonville) schools are in session until June 10th. I wouldn't agonize over which one to pick, though - go with whatever works best for you. The crowds shouldn't be hideous, either of those weeks. As stated above, avoid EMH parks, get to the park for opening (no need to be early, unless you want to see the opening "show,") and be flexible.
  15. Didn't see the Deep South Bash announcement, before I posted on this. Pretty much puts the kibosh on any chance of Disneyland, this year, as my family will be lobbying hard for SFOG, now.
  16. Late August is definitely your best bet. Florida schools are back in session and the crowds are more manageable.
  17. Oooooo - decisions, decisions. Really want to go to Hershey, but Georgia is much more convenient, but it would involve time off from school, shortly before the cruise.....hmmmm.... ....definitely interested for all 5 of us....
  18. How quickly does the Disneyland Half fill up? (EXTREME longshot, but I'm trying to think up a way to convince my family that I should fly out to CA by myself to run it, so I can get my Coast-to-Coast. )
  19. I would just add - don't underestimate how much the heat and humidity can add to how crowded it feels, and how much energy it will sap out of you. July and August are pretty much equally hot and miserable. June is slightly less hot and miserable, but still pretty damn uncomfortable. Early June and late August are your best bets, for less crowds, if you must go in the summer. FWIW, I live in Florida, and I can't deal with the heat/humidity/crowds of WDW in the summer.
  20. ^No joke! I'm going to have to schedule in at least 2 hours of workout time, every day, to avoid gaining 10 pounds!
  21. New Zealand has long been on my list of places I must visit! Thank you for another awesome report!
  22. Charlotte is highly envious of your purple ball. She kept asking us to get one for her, every time we played!
