Theme Park Review Mobile!
DeliriumTrigger replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The link works fine on my computer, however attempting to access it via a psp results in a warning and a fatal error. In case you aren't able to duplicate the error, here's what I'm seeing: "Warning: Array_keys(): The first argument should be an array in /home2/themepar/public_html/forum/mobile/wurfl/wurfl_class.php on line 367 Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home2/themepar/public_html/forum/mobile/wurfl/wurfl_class.php on line 370" -

^Probably a watermark. Whoever got it out (assuming its not a photoshop job) doesn't want other people taking credit for it. -
^^I'm not trying to discourage you...sites take a LOT of work to get popular. And trying to get a free-hosted site popular is damn near impossible. But don't let it get you down; if anything at least you get practice out of it. ^I think the 10 year anniversary is coming up...so that would have put the forums online at what, year 8? Not sure though.

I meant getting a rush of members to a forum. It is possible to run a site without a forum...Running around starting topics saying "Please join my forums/site or they/it will die" isn't the best way to do it. In fact, it tends to turn people away. If you have to beg for members, people won't think its worth visiting. Your best bet is to get something up to offer. Pictorials, videos, and then become a well established member of other forums and plug those individual items rather than the whole site/forums.

Well odds are the link is going to be pulled anyways (read #14 in the terms of service) but after looking at the first page I see nothing to draw me in. *Repeating background pictures are annoying *While you may be limited in your storage capacity, get some pictures put up using imageshack, or another service like it. The thumbnail and said background isn't enough to keep people looking. *Green text on a green background...probably not a good idea. As far as forums go...like Homer said, the only way to get a large rush of members all at once like this site did is to have a popular site running for a few years. Otherwise...expect slow registrations.

Discovery Documentary Update!

I've been wondering, will this be shown in HD? Discovery HD Theater keeps running ads with coasters, yet none of the coaster shows are actually in HD... -
^I agree with you about the random blog, however Kristin has proved pretty reliable in the past...

I used to volunteer out at a railroad museum, I was on the restoration team...most of my time was spent working on an old RPO (railway post office) car they had.

TOT

No. ToT in DCA has no 5th dimension room. It does move forward and reverse, but only to move to/from load into/out of the shaft. -

I decided to paint the side panals and dvd burner on my computer today. Still needs some touching up (mostly on the edges around the front vent) but its pretty decent. And after. Before... -
No it doesn't suck, and I sent an invite along.

Brilliant season finale. And while it did seem so much like a series finale, the ending leaves me hopeful. I still can't believe great shows such as this are being taken off the air for shows like "Free Ride" and "The Loop."

^They aren't just rumors...Showtime's head of entertainment publicly stated they're in negotiations to pick up the show. http://blogs.kansascity.com/tvbarn/2006/01/showtimeupn_the.html Just waiting on Fox to cancel and Mitch to sign.
-
Arrested = best show on tv. "due to the fact that Fox has decided to cancel the show and not renew it." Unfortionatly it's only the latter. Fox hasn't cancelled it. If they do, and Mitch (Hurwitz, creater of the show, for those of you who aren't fans) agrees to the contract, then Showtime will pick it up. But even if Mitch did sign, until Fox officially cancels it the show is doomed to hang in limbo.... Fox made a huge tiny mistake with how they handled this show.

Wide-angle lenses make interesting pet pictures...if you can get them to hold still long enough (obviously I couldn't or they wouldn't be so blurry)
