Another thing you may want to have a look at is something called the "tunnel test." Basically, you enclose the entire track in a tunnel and make sure it doesn't hit any other part of the ride. For example, in this screenshot, all the people in the left seat will have lost their head by the time the train returns to the station. But I agree with sfotkid, it's still a good first "real" coaster.

This is kind of misleading...HDTV isn't coming any more than it already is. All they're doing is switching over from an analog signal to a digital signal. This will allow for each channel to have enough bandwidth for one HD signal or several SD "sub-channels"...but they'll still have the choice.

Somehow I can't see Apple's version being much cheaper...Yes mass production will be able to drop the cost more than what Art Lebedev's been able to do, but it is Apple we're talking about. My current router (linksys) apparently can't handle N with my Macbook Pro, and having a terabyte of NAS isn't so bad. I was rather surprised by a lack of "one more thing."

There are ways around that. Its entirely possible to run OSX on a PC. http://www.wired.com/gadgets/mac/commentary/cultofmac/2005/08/68501 Right click the program icon, go to properties, then the compatibility tab, then check run as admin and apply. Only gotta do it that one time and then every time after that it will automatically run as admin. Of course, you'll still get the UAC popup unless you've already disabled that.

^Don't forget you're not filling it with just music. Video is a big part of the full size iPods...and I find myself constantly running out of room on my 60gb because of that (I only use 11.32gb for music/podcasts).

^^I'd started something like that for my G-scale trains a while back, but it didn't look nearly as nice. As for my own trains...I've just started increasing my roster of N-scale locomotives. I've got a pair of Santa Fe Warbonnet F9's (A/B) with me right now, a set of Southern Pacific Black Widows in the mail, and I'll be purchasing some New York Central F9's later. While I prefer steam to diesel, I love the F7/F9 series. Once I complete the A/B/B/A set on all three I'll be purchasing my first Mod-U-Rail set to give it a try.

That Mod-u-rail stuff looks pretty impressive. I may have to look into building an N scale layout with that someday.

You can get it when you get to the first town with a Gym...don't recall the town name...but it's in the basement of the PokeCenter

^Got you added. Not sure when I'll be able to actually use wifi, since my DS won't connect now. I'll either get no signal from my router, or I'll get signal but it can't connect to Nintendo WFC...only been able to successfully connect in the game once, occasionally it'll connect successfully in the wifi settings page but never in game anymore. Edit: Now it seems to be working.
