  1. I hope this isnt an indicator of attendance levels for next year.
  2. With a limited park resume and not being able to ride everything due to short kids and time restrictions... 1. Millennium Force 2. Ride of Steel (SFDL) 3. Apollo's Chariot 4. Storm Runner 5. Mystic Timbers 6. Griffon 7. The Beast 8. Banshee 9. Alpengheist 10. Ravine Flyer II
  3. Lol good point. I suppose you could get bucked off the moose and hit your coconut on concrete
  4. I was trained on the Skycoaster at GL (cool fact when you're certified as a site controller you can ride any skycoaster in the world for free!) and those tiny cables are very very strong. You can essentially put a car in a harness and swing in that and you'd be fine! If I remember correctly each cable is rated for 2000lbs. Of course, this was almost 18 years ago when I was trained so some things could have changed. lol The ops at DL said its the safest ride in the park
  5. Like anything else, you have to catch it when its not so crowded. WDW has upped the capacity on the event so if its a sold out night, its not going to be fun.
  6. My kids and wife have done it, I refuse. Free falling face first isnt my idea of fun (from 180 ft at SFDL)
  7. "Fist me daddy" is not only a middle school level of maturity, if I was on there with my kids when you did it we wouldve had problems. And what does "Mind WYRRMS" even mean?
  8. Other than the traffic getting in, I didnt think the ride lines were too bad on Friday.
  9. Project 2021: 355 ft giga? https://wydaily.com/local-news/2019/08/07/supposed-leaked-documents-give-insight-into-busch-gardens-possible-plans-for-355-foot-attraction/ Documents obtained by a fan group of Busch Gardens Williamsburg indicate there could be another roller coaster — possibly a giga coaster — on the way in 2021. A group of coaster enthusiasts who, in the past, have predicted other rides based on documentary evidence, believe the leaked documents to be authentic. A Busch Gardens spokeswoman said the park would not comment on its procedures on how to handle confidential information, including whether the park tries to find the source of the leak. A request for confirmation on whether the documents are authentic was not immediately returned Wednesday. The fan group has not published the documents themselves, but instead released an article with recreations of the plans. The group believes Project 2021, which obtained a 355-foot height waiver in June from the James City County Board of Supervisors, will be a roller coaster that uses the former station building for coaster Drachen Fire. Drachen Fire was shut down in 1998 and later disassembled. “… we’ve seen something that strikes us as legitimately extraordinary,” the group administrator wrote in the article. In the article, the administrator wrote the document would be the best fake “the industry has ever seen,” if it turns out to be a sham. If the ride is a coaster, it could be an “absolutely monstrous giga coaster” because of its 355-foot height waiver. The documents show trains will have four cars each in a two-by-two formation, according to the group. Busch Gardens officials have previously said the coaster will be spirelike at the top and be about 10 feet wide at its highest point. “Putting all of this information together, assuming this document is to be believed, it seems that we could be looking at a speed-focused, launched giga coaster of some sort debuting in Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Festhaus Park area sometime in or around 2021,” They closed the article by imploring readers to remember park plans and rides can change during development.
  10. You'd think that it's the end of the world based on the reactions from some "fan" sites (ESPECIALLY people in the comments). Yeah haha, I mean that was guaranteed to happen but I was expecting this story to get legs with the general public which doesn't seem like it's happened yet. Plenty on Twitter saying theyd never ride it. I hate people. I was on a ski lift in the Adirondacks that got struck by lightning and had to ride out a severe thunderstorm. Wont stop me from doing it again.
  11. ^ lmao I get that most people cant walk and chew gum at the same time but I multitask regularly (and legally) while driving as part of my job so I can assure you all would be safe
  12. Why? I think its because you're taking pictures on your phone while driving. Well im still alive to talk about it and so is everyone that was around me... so ok?
  13. Looking at the teaser shots im pretty sure youre right.
  14. Rest In Peace in peace? .... I don’t understand. Its a joke, used in memes. Intentional redundancy.
  15. After reading this thread, I was expecting to come off Vortex needing a chiropractor. After riding it last night, I wonder if you guys have been riding the same ride. Now it was by no means smooth, but definitely not the worst ive ever ridden. I thought Cedar Point's Corkscrew was much worse. It probably snaps more than the other Arrow's ive ridden but it wasnt terribly uncomfortable.
  16. Somebody get me a UHaul so I can save the Big Dipper
  17. Like my day at Cedar Point this year where Steel Vengeance, Gemini, TTD and Maverick (intermittently) were all down?
  18. Staying at AoA in February, itll be nice riding this instead of driving to Epcot and DHS. Intersted to see how quickly the lines move at the end of a night too.
